I'd like to know if he's still working on this

Anyway, a few of you are being rediculously nitpicky (even more than me; give the guy a break, he tints the status bar pink and you get after him, jesus flaming christ)...

And this thread's sustained several bumps, a few could've been PMs easily and such..

As for the 'new' tileset, it's alright, but... eh, something doesn't seem right in it.

The tinted statusbar pallete looked nice, it's at least a minor change for hacks

Continuing, the overworld (though it does have its own fair-share of glitches and errors) is fine, leave it alone already, cripes. Give the corners a break for once, worry about polishing things up later, just get the main of it done.

I'm not going to try the demo (Computer blows.) but I figured I'd throw my cent-and-a-half in, so whatever.

Eh? The piranha plants are in it by default. You just need to enable them in the edit sprites list (Overworld editor > Overworld > Edit sprites list)

Can you lend me the piranha plants please?

That happened to me once when I accidentally inserted an oversided ExGFX file. You might have not used the right ROM, or a clean version of it...

Also, if you look at the level (or where it should be) directly below the fortress which is directly below the castle, the single dark spot looks odd. For that matter, so does the one next to the castle, and the gap above the other fortress and near the level you're at.

Plus, you really shouldn't have the paths revealed until you get to them.

Otherwise, it looks nice. The clouds in LGi.png look too big and close, though, and don't look like they cover the objects so much as being part of them...

Oh, and you have your email address in a mailto link on your web page - and worse, it's an Angelfire page. Unless you're looking for spam you should probably Javascript-encode that or make it an image.

I'm not very good with the overworld, okay? I'm surprised I even caught two...

It's also relatively square with no curved things and parts seem kinda plain, but I can't accurately show that with red lines. I was thinking about outlining the screenshot itself though

Modified version of the previous screenshot, this time with more ground detail and a background. I hope the BG isnt too confusing in the shot, but it's pretty clear throughout the level.

Add-on November 14th 7:51PM EST :

No replies huh?

Here's a shot of the next overworld, I will stab myself if there are errors (I tried really hard to catch them).

This is not final, I just want opinions.

Looks way too plain for me. But that may be the point of the level, so I won't chew you out quite yet

I think you can add some details to it.

I have fixed all the errors pointed out by everyone, thank you! I also am trying to make a new foreground and I want some opinions before I fully implement it :

Is it OK?

Edit : Never mind the background, that will be changed to fit the new foreground as well.

Disruptive Idiot, these screens look great, but you might want to tweak the font used for the number of stars so that the border goes all the way around the number; the "23" in this shot looks wonky:

Looks like he typed in the wrong letter (d instead of k), which can make misunderstandings, just not in this case... Or something... And Kieran; your English is good for a 14 years old boy But this is off topic...

I like this hack quite much. It's good to see SMW hacks with the normal graphicks sometimes too... And the overworld is great, since there never was a pirahna island in SMW. Nothing else to say, the other hackers saw the wrongs on the pics. About the pirahna plant: I think it's good, but you should edit the head, which is still original... But keep on working About the colors: You need to fix up something here, if it isn't only the quality of the pics...
