Yeah, a very long time ago, I was interested in finishing up this program, or using some of the code in a new SMB2 editor, so I emailed the guy who made it for the source. And I've still not actually done anything with the source I got from him. Oops.

Thanks fellas for the feedback. *Googie feels special*

Jesper Yeah I agree with you on the editor, it did looked promising. I tried using the editor to hack SMB2 for a test run & the only thing that really got to me was that you can't see levels in the black screen, D'OH!

MajinBlueDragon The author said that he'll give the source code to anyone who is interested in finishing the editor. Heres Don's site. His e-mail is on his site & the readme that comes with Dreamweaver. Hey if you do plan on taking a look at this editor please keep me posted.

MathOnNapkins I still love this game to this day myself. Ah, the memories.

Very very overrated? To this day I still feel it's a little talked about game, though I love it.

where would one come across this source code? I might really be inteserted in playing with it...as well as the editor itself. You wouldn't happen to still have a link?

Unlike my last thread, which didn't have any luck at all, let's talk about this lost SMB2 Editor. I downloaded this editor a few days before Acmlm's old board crashed months ago. This editor is still alpha but it's really user friendly. The author in the readme says that the source code is available, in case someone might want to complete it. Well, heres the pic of the editor...

Get the editor here.
