Good idea that you fixed the problem in IE. I'm forced to use IE on places were you can't install Firefox/Mozilla. 
Nice layout Jesper, simple and nice. Saw it yesterday on your local server.

I actually didn't try this in IE. Now I seem to have fixed it. There's still some more tweaking to be done (the 'stats' line should line up in top with the top of the 'body' of the j) but it's almost there. |

Hmm ... all I see is a blue background, "j" at the top, some bit of stats in medium sized text, smaller text for the post, and a small empty space at the bottom

Better now, the "j" is at the left and the stats text is the same size as the post's, and the empty space at the bottom is a little smaller ... so I guess that's the whole layout 
A bit plain, but not bad actually Just fix the empty space at the bottom (not sure where it's coming from) and maybe fix it in Internet Explorer (which I now know isn't very standard-compliant, but is still used by the majority ) ... |

I'm still thinking about it. Most of you needs a sidebar or something to stick stuff in and that would require reconstructing this layout. Also I'm not sure this is the way to go overall anyway. |

Gradient? Possibly. And no, it's not got a whole lot of stuff in it. I'm sad to report that I don't need javascript quizzes that guesses my remote relative's average of shoe sizes upon the triple click of a button to make up for my posts. |

Aren't you going to add more stuff to it though? I just feel there's too much plain blue background in it. If you want to keep it like that, maybe you should change the shade of blue some? |
