Where was I being hostile? o.O
You seemed quite hostile in your last post, that's the way I interpreted it, anyway. If not, then never mind. |

I think "Blandest" was supposed to be the B-Side of the "Love Buzz" single, wasn't it?
As I recall, it got axed because, long story short, they thought it lived up to its title.
Note that I've heard this song...it's pretty good, though nothing truly exceptional. |

Calm down, now, Ralphy Boy, I'm just joshing around with you here, no reason to be hostile. And yes, I do know that it's not a big deal that Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through The Strip was on the European versions of In Utero and not the American, but it's just the principle of things, y'see... Now, anyway, I'm off to claim my t-shirt! |

Well it was out on the net the 19th, so you both lose
And hopefully the release of this box set will bring some more attention to Sappy, a song that is definitely one of the best Nirvana songs. The Butch Vig mix of SLTS is also great, better then the released one. Blandest is also a good song, but I don't think it would have been considered something very special if out would have ended up on Bleach, most people just think these songs are amazing because they haven't been heard before. |

If you're talking about European version getting Gallons on In Utero, big deal, the UK one was imported to the US when it came out. |

22nd for the world, one day later for North America. The official release date is the 22nd. Oh, and one may add that to the list of "Why it's better to be a European Nirvana-fan", right next to Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through The Strip.
Now, the damned people who were supposed to ship from Oslo to Troms |

22nd for Europe and 23rd for US/Canada, so I am still correct. |

Still doesn't mean you weren't two months late with this thread. Besides, your information ain't correct, the box set was released today, not on the 23rd. I was down at the local music shop at 10am this morning to get it, but they hadn't gotten it yet, because this place is so remote. Hopefully they'll get it before the end of the day. |

I've listened through most of it, and it's nothing really extraordinary. Some demos and stuff, most of which I've heard before. A few interesting songs though, but nothing that the average Nirvana fan would find interesting. Me however, I love it I'm a sucker for demos and other things like that. Looking forward to the DVD and booklet, should have some interesting stuff. |

You're getting the Zeta Gundam box set too!?
I'm not really a big Nirvana fan, but I know about 10000000000000000000000 kids that are, and I know for a fact that most of them are going to get this for Christmas. It sounds like a good deal, and I might have picked it up...If it weren't for bigger and better things coming out before then. |

I'm not a huge Nirvana fan but I have some of the tracks he did with Earth (Pre-Nirvana) on my computer
The box set sounds cool, I have some close friends and family members who love nirvana so I'm looking forward to buying it for them
Since I'll probably have little money, I'll just download everything they produce and burn it in to my own Burn CD set Thats what I did with Metallica. Fucking took like 12 burn CDs though ;-; |

At least my thread has a playlist and CORRECT information. Only about 10-20 songs are unreleased, the others "unreleased ones" are just rarities that are in the first Nirvana Box set, which was released in 1997 I believe.

Wooooo! I've been waiting for this for a long time... but on November 23rd it comes out, I think it's about $50-60 US. Comes with 3 music CD's and a DVD, along with a 60 page booklet. Contains a lot of unsurfaced material, even though I've heard most of them via bootlegs, I'll still buy it.

Full track listings there... and here is the official site.

Finally, I'll get to hear Pen Cap Chew, Blandest, and Opinion in pure, remastered glory instead of crappy quality bootleg format. |
