Ha, I've seen something scarier.

A deck built around time warp and time stretch.

Opponent: *takes ten turns*

Me: "Can I untap yet?"

Him: "NO!"

And as for sol rings, I know full well how good of a mana source they are. But since when was Onslaught dropped from type 2? More specifically, why?

I've done worse. White Bringer and Mindslaver. You never get a turn, and I'll make sure you can never play anything.

As for good decks, I like Kallias' Underworld Dreams deck. Draw five cards, place your hand under your deck, and redraw your hand. Take four damage for every card you draw. Enjoy. XD

Type 2 is only the last two blocks and the core set.

So that means its kamigawa, mirrodin, and 8th right now.

Right now the Power 9 is way over priced and doesn't have much power anymore to Type I since there is so many combo's to stop it.

The best type I deck i've seen is either affinity in type 1, or tendrils.

Tooth & Nail, Ravager, and Samurai are the bigger decks now in larger tournaments. Since Onslaught block dropped out of type-2 the diversity in decks has also dropped (no more better Blue/White Control, Elves, Goblins, etc)

Talking Type-1... many options to chose from. Many decks can be great and cheap also they just require more or a strategic mind. Of course blue/white is arguably the best type of decks to play. Propagandas, War Tax, Isochron Scepter with Boomerang or Counterspell, Wrath of God, Exalted Angel, Akroma, Decree of Justice, Eternal Dragons, Orim's Chant, etc... make very powerful decks!

No offense but Type I evolves at times around 2-5 colors since there is so may ways to pull stuff of nowdays. But it you think hard you could build an unstopable 1 color deck and such. Some key cards to think of for Type I are:

Maze of Ith
Sol Ring
Strip Mine
Ivory Tower
Black Vise

Other cards depends uppon your deck...

OK for that deck some suggestions of mine will depend on what type you are playing. If it evolves around artifacts it is bad. you might wana splash in a color or 2 since someone could easily shatterstorm and such.

But if you want to keep it at artifacts this is what I would suggest.

1 Sol Ring
4 Mishras Factory's
4 Jade Statues
4 Juggernaunts.

IMO I like all the cards. Maybe if I have the time I will write down the contents of my deck and make you all go wow hehehe...

If you ask for any more suggestions....uhhh I will try and check back every once and a while...

No, not suicide black. He used a bunch of old cards that built up as the game progressed. And it progressed fast. It was just overall a really fast deck, a lot of 2/2 shadow creatures and protection from white creatures, it was like the exact opposite of a white cleric deck.

patron wizard> you.

wizards fucking own.

Edit: Suicide Black, I assume? Wait... that's decently big creatures with drawbacks... was it a shadow/dauthi deck?

Except replace "Targeting everything on the board" with "KA-COUNTERED!!!!"

See, cause I run a blue artifact deck so everything gets coun--- it's a joke. But I do have to admit, when I saw that combo in action I was pretty impressed.

Here's an interesting one though; I've seen a black weenie deck, except it wasn't really so much a black weenie deck as it was "four consecutive dark rituals" and a sinkhole per turn. Took out Rob in four moves.

You can always do this, but the power your deck could pack wouldn't be that great.

Or if it's a legend. Can't forget about those crazy legends, especially with the new Kamigawa Legend policy.

However, Val's forgetting about the other kind of Blue deck you have to watch out for, the mind taking kind. Cards like Vedalken Engineer, Desertion, Memnarch, and even Grab the Reins (even though it's a red card I've seen some deadly red/blue combination decks) can take all of the power you amass and turn it against you. You might think it'd take some time to do, but most of the Mirrodin Block Vedalkens can get artifact decks rolling along really quickly, it's best to watch yourself.
