Hmmm...

-Beating final staff ghost on F-Zero X (that was around 2003... so long ago now. Now I thrash them and it doesn't feel the same.)
-Beating Super Mario World for the first time when I was 6 (around 1995).
-Playing YI for the first time... let alone beating it. Though my absolute all-time favourite gaming memory is simply getting a SNES when I was 4 and my sis was 8, we loved that console. And we got loads of games and played for ages and ages and ages... I'm on my 4th SNES now, you can't ever take them away from me. I remember playing Street Fighter a lot with my dad, i was little so my coordination skill weren't great and i found it hard to fireball. My dad always picked E.Honda and handslapped his way to victory, he was so cheap. Nowadays I win every time, but back then...

A couple more good ones...
- Finally beating Super Mario RPG. (which probably took a lot longer than it should have )
- Getting the night intro in Mario Kart: Super Circuit.

Playing videogames with my mom back in the day (she hates the new controllers, haha). It's the most mother-daughter time I've ever experienced, and I still hold those memories close, as pathetic as they are.

As far as a specific game goes.. beating Megaman 2 was one hell of an acheivement for me. Actually playing it in general. Awesome fun times.

Probably beating all 16 staff ghosts on Double Dash.

Well, I'm sure there are many more than this, but at the moment these are the first and best ones that come to mind.

- playing Double Dash for the first time (getting three giant chomps in a row; realizing waaay before anyone else that you don't need to push the button repeatedly to get the speed boost)

- realizing we could network X-boxes

We had Virtua Fighter on our old 166mhz computer many years ago and it was amazing.

Though, I beat the crap out of the game on expert. No challenge at all. My favorite character was Kage Maru.

Um... a few years ago when I beat Ocarina of Time. May have been a bit newer than most of yours, but really, after I beat it, I messed around with it for hours and hours and hours.

Then Majora's Mask pwnzed its replay value.

When I saw The sims for the first time. It was so magical game back then, I did cheat whenever I did play. But later on I actually stopped cheating competly and have only played without now.

The sims and it's succesor The sims 2 it's not very hard games. For some reason I get sucked into the game becuse of the creative part of the game. I love building houses and see the Sims interact with it.

Besides that, SMW. The first time I played that game... so magical it was. Full of secrets... back then.

The opening day of Vitura Fighter in the arcades. There was a line at the larger screen and I walked up and started to play against this one guy and I beat him, so the next one in line went, and I killed him, and then another guy came up and he went down, until the four one came up and I was beat. It was the first time that I played that game.

There's more, but I won't waste time here, mostly yours. Maybe later.

When I got to the last level on Sonic 2...and fell off the plan and died . My skills weren't as good then..I forgot how old I was..well I don't know why I didn't beat it. I had no reason not to..it's irritating

I remember when I played Sonic: The Hedgehog 3 for the first time. I just loved the boss music and I still think it

Beating the crap out of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" is one of my best memories.

And a really recent one (5 day old), would be my completion of Tales of Symphonia.

To him, and for him, it is a sport. If you met him, you'd understand why I allow him to think of it as a good and wholesome sport.

Kicking my cousin's ass for the first time at Street Fighter.

I always was E. Honda, and he was always Blanca. So, I'd use Thousand Slaps, I was a kid, didn't know better. I always got wasted. Then I disovered Ken, Ryu, and Guile and projectile attacks. Of course, he still owned me. Soon I discovered how to time my attacks, and then I found the almighty Zangeif and his awesome flying Power Bombs. Soon, my cousin could not touch me in a fighting game. To this day he cannot defeat me, in anything...Except golf, but that is a totally weak ass sport.

Another memory...the best I ever ogt out of my n64, was playing Mystical Ninja starring Goemon...rented it for the summer once...late fees were a bitch, i didnt care. i was hooked. I got to the last boss, and couldnt beat it, returned the game...bought it used just this year, turns out my memory card has a corrupted save on it. SOO. i had to start over. but playing that weird crazy game again...and now getting the "humor" because I'm older...its so great

Hm.. beating Donkey Kong (the GB one. You know, with the keys and doors stuff), I guess.I'm pretty sure that was the first video game I beat all by myself. Really great game, and just the right difficullty level for an 8-year-old like me. Back then, I didn't know much about video games, and only got the game because the store clerk said it was good. I was really surprised when I noticed Mario was in it.

Man the memories... I remember when my mom bought me Link to the Past at a garage sale... she thought it was some cheap game that would keep me busy for a couple hours... ended up keeping me busy for a couple months... (I was probably around 7 or 8)... I remember finally getting to Ganon, my little brother sitting on the floor screaming and yelling cause I was there (he was probably about 3), and my hands were so sweaty I could barely grip the controller...

....and then I died... and tried again and beat him that time...

...Was he DeeDeeDee back then? I can't remember.

Of course, now it's DeDeDe which is much... well, easier to type out.

I remember staying up all night to beat Wizards and Warriors actually. Didn't have any problems with the final boss sadly.
