Read or Die is a 3-episode anime series (if you can call it that)
Read or Dream is sort of a continuation of Read or Die in that the same characters (and a few new ones) appear and use the same backdrop (English supremacy and paper powers).

I thought it was very cool though, not to crazy, you just have to be very whatchful so you understand everything. This is by far better than the animetrix though... |

I meant it in the way as they both are short series, and both are kind of weird. I never said it exceeded FLCL. I generalized it in that category. |

actually it made me thin alot. I mean, just the animations won me over. The storyline was good too. And the character personalities were great! This would fall into the FLCL category tho..it's kinda weird in its own way. Very unique. |

I watched most of Read Or Die when it was on but I didn't give it a whole lot of thought. Her powers were pretty cool and creative though. |

Read or Dream is a 26 episode (one could say "sequel") to Read or Die...
So yeah, Read or Die came first (around 2000) then Read or Dream came out later...
Read or Die seems to be a miniseries more than an OVA...but then again, I've seen OVA be applied loosely so i dunno... |

From what I've gathered, Read or Die is the OVA and Read or Dream is the anime. Not exactly sure how long it is, but I'm guessing it's not much.
And yea, I loved it. Not especially thrilled about what's going to be shown again on Adult Swim this Saturday, but at least we get a good one every so often as a break in the schedule. |

Read or Die is a 3 episode anime...so you should be able to determine what's up...
as for this anime, I like it a lot...i find it is good has British Supremacy in the backdrop... the paper-ablity is kick ass... if you really like this series, you should check out Read or Dream and see paper ability at a new level |

It was on Adult swim on saturday, i recorded it, but just got to watching it today. The animations were superb. I love anime with that style of drawing. The story line was a little weird, and that girls paper power was crazy.
The fact that she would have like an orgasm when she found a new book made the anime a little interesting.(lol jk) Well Unfortunetly, I only recorded the first ep, so yea I am a little bummed. It was getting real good too..
Will this be like a series on Adult Swim? Or was this a one time thing? |
