that sounds like what happens to my computer on a consisten basis, monitor is on but the computer just sits there, like it can't figure out the next step to do.

anyways, it is a good thing it is fixed; hopefully, it doesn't happen again. If it doesn and what your sister did does not work again, then it might be time to get a new computer...

That's right, I demand help you motherfathers.

Today when I was watching Full Metal Panic, my computer itself began to emit a strange buzzing noise. I'd hear internal beeps and such before, but not a long prolonged "bwaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr". Now, normally, I could fix the problem, take a look around, yadda yadda. This is where the real problem comes along. My computer is in fact broken now. The monitor will turn on, but it will not display anything. The power is running into it, but the whole shibang is just sitting there. So, I'm thinking my mobo is blown or something. I'd like any sort of help that I can get on the topic. I kind of need the computer for school and such.

Edit:: My sister somehow managed to fix it, I assume she brutally beat the shit out of it.
