You do know that MGS:AC!D is going to be a Card Battle game, right?
It still looks friggen awesome.
I can't wait for Nintendo freaks to start blasting this game for breaking the norm. When all that their favourite company does is put out "original material".

I'm getting the DS, not doubts about it. I prefer to be able to play both DS and GBA games on one system then getting a PSP, which we don't know much about. But knowing me, I *might* buy both. |

By any chance does that MGS: Acid thing stand for Metal Gear Solid, because that would be awesome. |

Too bad that there was a neither option, because I'm going to wait it out and see if any other company decides to offer as a contender.
But chances are I'll walk into EB and go...HOLY SHIT NINTENDO DS, MUST BUY NOW. And then say bye-bye to my pay check. |

DS VS PSP: The final bout.
Price DS: 249.99$ CDN PSP: Min. 350$ CDN
Battery Life DS: 8-10hrs PDP: Est. 4-12 hrs based on function
Games DS: Min. 30 launch PSP: Well, MGS: Acid and tonnes of other shit...So I'm assuming it is going to be strong
GRFX LOL DS: Somewhere between a N64 and a Dreamcast PSP: Supposedly on par with PS2 |

So far I prefer the DS over the PSP.
- It's 150$ compared to 300$ - First Party titles, Mario 64x4, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Final Fantasy III, etc. - Backward compatibility with GBA games. - Better battery power, so I've heard. - Nintendo knows what they're doing when it comes to handheld gaming.
The PSP, I truly haven't heard or seen much about. All I know is Sony is going around ranting about it's ability to play UMD movies, well is that what a portable gaming system is for? If it's your taste to watch instead of play then maybe it is, but I'd rather play something on the road, and currently Nintendo has a ton of games in the making for the DS over the PSP. |

I want to look at both sides of the story. Does anyone have any info on the PSP? Because I want to know more about it before I go and say that the DS is better. I want screens of games, titles of games, info on the system itself, and videos of the thing in action. Thank you. |

Nintendo DS: $150 A couple games: $60 Laughing at PSP kiddies who ran out of batteries while I've still go hours left to enjoy Super Mario 64x4: Priceless
Plus the PSP will cost twice as much... so vote DS |

I will stab you in the eye for bringing this up.
They are not comparable, the biggest difference being the screens. I have to deal with this every damn day in school with people comparing the two, calling the DS a kiddy system and that the strap-on battery and neck collar for the PSP look fashionable. As soon as I even say something that would make the DS look better to anyone, they say "TWO SCREENS OMG THAT WOULD MAKE ME WASTE TWO MUCH MONIES ON BATTRIES MY YUPPIE PARNETS DONT PAY ME THAT MUCH". It pains me inside.
Also, if I see another one of these threads, I will do something about it |

I'm a pure Nintendo player, so it's quite obvious that I choose DS. I have never had any non-Nintendo consoles. |
