The recently banned FFDude PM'd me similar questions, he patched everything from the Zipped up rom to the emulator itself...heh...helping him was fun. Only patch the unzipped rom file itself, like Disch has pointed out.
It's good to see more mac users out and about here lately... |

I should point out... you're patching the ROM... not the emulator. Don't be applying the IPS to the emulator, or you'll break it. |

Zophar does indeed have many things, bookmark that site and check it's every nook and cranny for utilities and such. It will save you a headache.

Zophar has IPS patchers for Mac, and all patches should work just fine, regardless of the computer. |

But yeah... the patch and ROM are both completely platform independant. So the only thing I can think of is you either aren't patching the ROM properly, or you have the wrong ROM dump.
What patcher are you using? Have you had success applying previous patches? What ROM do you have (what's the title)? |

Did you use LIPS (Lunar IPS) to patch it with the ROM? More than likely that's your problem. The patch doesn't discriminate between OS's, I think you might have a ROM version that might not work if you did use LIPS.
And next time, clarify so we don't have this problem. I thought you meant period, there should be no problem running this with any OS as long as you patch correctly to the right ROM dump. |

Dude, I did read the thread, and I did go there. I s'pose that I should clarify that the patch doesn't work for macs. So if anyone can find a mac patch for playing Mawaru, let me know. C'mon, man, I'm not so dumb as to not look and see if anyone else ahs a similar question. |
