Eh, I won't be seeing this movie in theaters. One of my friends went to go see it and she said that she with the whole theater ended up laughing at some parts. I was like  "It isn't that good?" and she said it wasn't and I believe her on that, so it isn't worth 10 bucks or whatever the prices are now for me to go see it  . |

Its about this killer who makes people play sick and twisted games in order to save thier own lives, he also riggs it up so that its the victims who kill themselves.
I thought it was a very good movie, but I have to confess that me and my friends were laughing to the point of tears making fun of the movie afterwards...we all still thought it was awesome though.
I would tell you what was so funny, but then Id spoil the movie. |

Yeah, i saw it today, too. It was good, but fell short.
Almost every scene was suspensefull. The little girl walking through the dark room: Suspensefull. The guy developing photos: Suspensefull. Filling their gas tank with super unleaded gas: Suspensefull. etc etc blah blah.
After a while, the suspense had worn its welcome and lost alot of its impact.
Also, the dialog wasnt that great. The acting was unbelievable, too.
The concept was really cool, I thought. It was just executed way too poorly. |

An excellent story and premise, but not properly pulled off. More specifically, Cary Elwes (sp?). I really wanted to like him, but somehow he didn't seem to pull it off just right. The script wasn't exactly top notch either. My friend and I were laughing in quite a few "serious" spots.
Overall, though, it wasn't a bad thriller, but not quite up to the hype. Plus, a puppet that looks like Jack Skellington in drag isn't exactly the scariest thing around, but it wasn't a bad attempt.

I get scared in the sense where i think that if I was in the characters situation Id be terrified, and the occasional shocks. |

Today me and some friends are going to see a movie, it was a tough decision between The Grudge and Saw but after some research and reviews we've decided to go see Saw....IGN seems to think that its WAY better than The Grudge in every way. Hopefully they are right....cause I wanna be scared. |

I didn't even know anything about this movie until today  . I haven't saw any previews or anything. Some peoples in my class was at the site and stuff and it looked like a good horror movie type so I shall see it one day. |

Certainly looks like it has potential. There's all kinds of comparisons to Se7en, with reviews invoking that in good and bad ways. Probably not gonna see it in theaters, buuuut... |

Well, judging by the previews, it's probably the only horror movie in the past number of years besides Dawn of the Dead that's actually captured my interest. Man, those movies just keep getting pumped out, like crappy historical war-based first-person shooters (and FPS in general). |
