Time warp... it isn't 100% wrong, but not right either...
As for the next demo, it won't be so soon, for I have still lots of things to do for that to become releasable. I wasn't working on it too actively lately...

Looks really good and I think, it's a picture where Mario does a time warp, but I could be wrong. The only thing that I know is, that you used ASM.
BTW: When will you release the next demo of SMW: ALttP

Alright, here comes a new one.


I'm not gonna tell you anything about it (I am an evil one ) except that it has something to do with the hack's title. You'll find out early enough (i.e. when I release t3h next demo).

If they are bushes you should probably make them more rounded out...

I am still working on the backgrounds. The bushes were sorts of a fast reaction to "you should add custom BGs" and I will redo it for sure.

To me, the SMW items (flower, star and especially the mushroom) look way better than their SMAS pendants, anyway. SMW's koopas are also the first ones that don't have a brocken neck, so I'm most probably gonna leave them both as they are. Although I don't want to say further improvement isn't possible.

I already thought of adding some more. It only got boring after the second time I had to construct all the map16 entries for that...

The background looks like a background from Ed, Edd n Eddy, not in design, but in shading... there is none! This is a good thing, though, although I would recommend a few more tree layers...

Otherwise good.

1st pic: Good...but since you're using ExGFX for the FG, you should use some ExGFX for the BG as well; the SMW background image looks out of place with YI FG graphics.

I really like both screenshots. This looks like a really high quality hack. I just hope the level design lives up to its cosmetics.
