I just started using Firefox on a regular basis as well. It tends to be somewhat slower than IE at times, and renders certain things differently, but the stability makes up for it.

My current theme is GrayModern. Very clean and simple. As for extensions, I recommend Image Zoom, ieview (for potential compatibility issues), and Linkification (though I haven't used it yet, I'm certain it will come in handy soon). Extension support alone makes Firefox approximately 5 trillion times better than IE.

When you right click the toolbar to Customise it, there's a button labeled "Add a new Toolbar". Use that, and drag the URL and Search bars to that new bar. Also, there's a Go button (hidden by default) if you want more of an IE feel.

Oh, and this is a wonderful site to get a feel of Internet Explorer, this is a site to help you out (but it may slow down the browser): http://firefoxie.net/

Hello

Just so you know, this should probably go in the Hardware/Software forum

And yes, Firefox is good....

To get rid of the "unused bar" (the bookmarks toolbar), right mouse click on the regular toolbar and uncheck "Bookmakrs Toolbar".

Not sure how to move Google/Search as I like it where it is. And just a note, you can also make Google an Amazon, Dictionary.com, Wikipedia or other search if you want

As for a theme, I like Qute.

I just downloaded fire fox and it seems to be alot better than IE. Its a bit slow on my computer compared to IE, and it pops up with alot of security warnings, but it looks 1000% better. I just wanted to have an IE type setup. Here is a shot of my firefox:

Now, how do I move the google bar to below the buttons, and address bar? I also need to get rid of the unused bar that is already below that. Thanks for any help.

Also, what is a great theme to use for this browser?
