Here is also a nice, friendly, accurate html/CSS tutorial. It's labeled as a draft, but it seems fairly complete so far as I've read. Also note that this is for HTML 4.01, not XHTML 1.0, so it tells you to use <br> for example, rather than <br /> which I prefer. Whatever. |

Eh, w3schools is pretty good, but it will only teach you the hard basics. w3c, the umbrella over w3schools, has some more in depth intruction. w3c tutorials. They focus on the markups, and css. |

I find http://www.w3schools.com/ helpful concerning most webpage languages and such. I used it for CSS, mainly. |
