Haha, I think I remember watching..pieces of it. It was decent..but I don't know when I saw it..or when it was on. Maybe I should find out and actually watch a full epie..I remember it had good animation or whatever with the bright colors. That's what I liked  |

well Ziff, if you noticed, one thing that Sunrise did not do so well with Gundam series in the 90's was shading. In Victory and G, this is most apparrent. However, I don't think you can compare the coloring of Seed and other Gundam. Although they have all been made under sunrise, the creator isn't always the same and that could have played a part as well. I personally think that Turn A kind of suffers the same fate and the animation also varies from time to time. (I really don't think the animation is nothing special) Oh, and G Gundam aired in '94. |

Seed Destiny is probably one of the prettiest Gundams. Being a sucessor to G-Gundam, I'd better be. For a show in the late 90s...God, the G-Gundam animation and art was pitiful. Seed and Seed Destiny have glorious friggin' colours, which are bright. The mobile suits look fresh. Definitely a lovely breath of air after watching Wing.
Although in my opinion, it still is no Turn A. |

Yea, definitely. If it's one thing the seed series does well, it's animation. Both Seed and Seed Destiny make great use of colors and computer animation. The Mobile Suit design is much better in Destiny(I think) and brings back Zaku's from the original Gundam except in a cool sleek form. |

Well, I liked Wing. So is the quality, better/about the same? I don't really care if the plot/style are similar. |

Can't wait to see this anime. Sounds pretty good. But I think Gundam Seed is the best gundam anime i've seen so far.. |

I sure hope not, more fansubs for me ^-^. I'm still in the process of determining what sub is the best.. but I think AonE & A-K has a pretty big chance of being best, I keep checking the new subs etc. They have to get the names right for me to like ;P. Leg Flyer, Chest Flyer, Head Flyer and Core Splendor.. and also the character names (not that hard to check the katakana). |

I've seen the first couple of minutes and can already agree with you that it resembles UC very much.

Zeta Gundam: Fleeing from an attack by BOTH sides(not just the "enemy") Gundam F91: The family (Sister, Father, Mother) Victory Gundam: Attack on a city by the sea. And a mix of basically all UC: The main character/victim decides to join the "good guys".(if there is any definite good side besides AEUG and League Militaire) OH, and let's not forget Athrun homage to Quattro Bageena/Char Aznable.(Athrun with the big shades). Ok, there are 2 people who could be Cruze or clones or something: Rey Za Burrel and Neo Ronoake. Rey was the blonde guy standing next to the red haired girl with both their zakus crushed by debris.(looks like Cruze w/o a mask. His voice is done by Cruze, so...) Neo Ronoake is the guy that looks like Cruze with a black helmet(he's in the preview and opening) The only problem that I worry is that how can you make the Mobile Weapons any better? Also, many of the characters look similar, and there is a large amount of them as well.
EDIT: OMG!! I KNEW I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THAT VOICE! Shuuichi "Char Aznable" Ikeda does the voice of Gilbert Dullindal! |

Yay~. It aired a few hours ago and man, it looks GREAT. I had this real tingly gundam feeling during the first few minutes, it's like taking some nice stuff from the start of Zeta.. and mixing it with a 3-part gundam like in Victory.. and then finally making the main character the enemy of Kira from Seed. The following saturdays this year will own, I'll probably watch the raws and follow it up with some fansub :x. |
