Oh, about Liu...you don't need to do all that. I just unlocked him now...
1) G-8 in Edenia (at Jade's Encampment)
2) Be there Thursday night / Firday morning at 12:00 AM.
3) The chest should be somewhere behind or next to the tent.
And there you have it. Turkeyboy Ahoy. 
P.S.: Just make sure you complete Konquest mode first, or else it won't show up. |

That was a lie. Liu Kang can be unlocked in 2 forms...his Zombie form which I think is pretty awesome...and his reincarnation which is even awesomer. Heres how....
Part 1
1)Return to Earthrealm
a)train with Liu Kang beyond the bridge
2)Go to Netherrealm
a) unlock the gate by defeating the 3 clan members (not too hard, just keep trying)
b) Make sure you have done Shinnoks quest (you need his favor later)
3) Head to Edenia
a)search the map for the following (Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Havik) complete their challenges (you have to link toss-up moves to complete)
b) Meet the Queen who will tell you that Kitana has been made into the Dragon Kings bodyguard, and only her love of Liu can free her (She never gets freed though). But you have to unite Liu Spirit and Body.
This all must be done before moving on
Part 2
1) head back to Earthrealm.
a) Talk to Spirit Liu and defeat his challenge (you bleed, he does 300% damage/healing)
2) Head to Edenia
a) there is a tent in the corner of the map, Liu's spirit and the Queen are there. Talk to both. Beat the Queens challenge (darkness, bleeding)
3) Finally head to Outworld
a) talk to Liu (Living Liu) in the city you gave to Order. (Not sure if it's necessary but it's what I did) He will tell you only Shinnok has the power to free spirits. (Why not Tsung?)
b) Return to Shinnok to reunite Body and Spirit. When you return to Edenia you will have to fight Shao Khan, who will then allow you to unlock Liu.

Yeah, I've heard of Shaolin Monks. I really haven't heard too much about it yet.
As for Liu, I haven't unlocked him yet. From what I hear, you have to beat Konquest mode twice... |

Its the next MK game and its a muliplayer adventure/fighter...i cant wait!!!!! |

OH. HELL. YES.
Got my premium pack, and it is oh so good. Kabal kicks more ass than ever, and it is WAY less broken than Deadly Alliance.
On a side note, I also found out how to unlock everyone except for Liu Kang. Apparently nobody leaked it out yet... |

I bought the game yesterday and Im lovin it, its like Deadly Alliance on the Juice and theres ALOT of things to Unlock.
Ive been trying to find out how to unlock Liu Kang but no one seems to know, I hope he really is in this game. |

Well that's just your fault for ordering the Premium Pack, isn't it? 
The commercial... eh. It just didn't feel like Mortal Kombat although it's about as much as they could get away with.
BTW, each character has 2 fatalities and 1 suicide fatality/Hari Kiri. |

Bad News.
Just called Gamestop. They probably aren't getting it in where I am until TOMORROW. Somebody is gonna die... 
On topic: Because people loved MKII so much is probably why they threw in some of the bigguns from that one (I.E. Baraka), into Deception.
EDIT: The Premium Pack, which I preordered, comes in tomorrow. The regular game comes out today. |

I have to agree with you there. MK2 was by far my most favorite and most played. It had IMO the best line up of characters and the best fatalities ever! |

Well given the commercials definitely showed someone doing a move that was distinctly the Bicycle Kick... Yeah, I'd say Liu Kang is in it.
As for the series as a whole, I've always felt 2 was really the only game that stood up on its own gameplay-wise. Though this Deception looks interesting. |

Ive always love MK and always will...and I had all sorts of fun with DA, sure its not DOA or Soul Calibur...but its great in its own blood drenched way.

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance was the biggest piece of shit ever put together,
ONE fatality?! a whole whopping THREE special moves!? fighting styles that changed nothing but animations?! Weak and boring arenas?
No, unless Jesus was added to the development team, i doubt Deception is going to be any sort of a Miracle for the series.
but then, MK has sort of always been a shitty fighting game that was raised to high levels of success due to its gore and trendyness. The engine has always been real stiff, and most of the characters special moves sucked and often times made fighting radically unbalanced.
As a game, the MK series blows. But from a Marketing standpoint, its one of the best ifghters ever made. So fuck that, Im not even going to try MONEY KOMBAT 34284832 |

Most of the reason I'm getting the game in the first place is the online play.
If Cube users have to wait, I hope they at LEAST get some exclusive characters *cough*Sektor*cough*, or something of the sort. They deserve it for getting gypped out of kickass online features yet again... |

Liu Kang is an unlockable by the way.
Might try it when it comes out for the GameCube next year - apparently we get an "enhanced" version with 2 extra modes. Whatever that means. Sure as hell doesn't mean online play. |
