Rivalry - Whenever I can at least compete against Hiryuu in something.

The only rivalry is the fact that YOU actually beat ME in SOMETHING.

I dunno...might look at it...but then again, look at me...and online gaming other than ZSNES...it just doesn't work.

With cheating, I meant "reloading save states until I get hole in one". ^__^

Sure, I have played Multiplayer, but my sister won over me the last time we played.

You know, the multiplayer aspect kinda reduces the "cheating" aspect.

Although Hiryuu didn't think so when I made a nearly impossible "kill 2 enemies and sink the ball" shot a few days ago.

..I can't even play Kirby dream course without cheating. Thought it's more of a minigolf game than a real golf game.

Isn't the site layout looks too much like Gunbounds?

A golf game? What a wasted concept on such cute design

I wouldn't be surprised at all if my prediction was right - a couple of pages that were marked as "Coming Soon" (like the course page) have info today.

There's also 3 game modes - stroke play, match play and a 30-person tournament.

I have to admit, I had alot of fun with Golf games. First with Microsoft golf and then that golf game for NES.

Active camera work, immersive game play, smooth and funny character motion, and full 3D background almost make PangYa look like a high quality video game.

Almost? That sounds so wrong...

And it has a story. Hmm... why do I have a feeling that it's a Mario golf clone of some sort?

O-M-F-G. This game looks... awesome. I guess I may download it even if it is in Korean.

Here's another new online game from those wacky Koreans... except this time, it's sports-based.

To put it bluntly - it's golf. Here's the site.

The game seems to be rolling right along in Korea, but despite having an English site (which has some unfinished pages but gives you a good idea of the game) there's no English download yet.

I believe there WILL be within the next month or so. Why? Well, the game's from HanbitSoft. Last year, Survival Project (another HanbitSoft game) was shown at the 2003 World Cyber Games as a "special" event. This October, at the 2004 WCG (which is in California), HanbitSoft's holding a "special" tournament for Pangya. So I'd bet that a global release would be on its way soon afterwards...

And if you're wondering... yes, I'm gonna play it. It's FREAKING GOLF.
