Papermario, 120 dollars at the flea market, open and in poor condition, no instuctions. 6 dollars at the next stand, same flea market. Factory SEALED.

300 for FF2? No way, the next stand sells it for 50 dollars. I hate the local flea market.

Thankfully, the over priced stall that some whacked out Russian guy runs is going out of business because some whacked out Portugese guy decided to open a stall that sold things at fair, or outrageously cheap prices.

The one thing that I absolutely love/hate about the flea market is the army surplus. I got a second pair of combat boots (14 hole) for 12 bucks. Perfect, fresh out of the Spanish army condition, not even visible scratching to the leather. But, the WWI German general helmet would run me 2500. I just want a pointy thing on a helmet to gore the Russian guy so that I can take his games.

At least around here, I haven't seen THAT much in N64 in thrift stores, but they're clutch. Smackdown! 2 for the PS1 ran me four bucks. The PS1 games are starting to filter in, so maybe soon we'll see people donating the games, not just the consoles (I forget how much an N64 was).

I've heard of that chain... sounds like a collector's dream.

I'd have to go to garage sales to find decent selections here - if I'm lucky.

it seems that here(in idaho) for every person that dies, a gamecrazy is built

they have used games ranging from .99 to 29.99 for N64 and ps,ps2, gc, dreamcast, sega genesis, gamegear, and snes and nes.
they get some really rare stuff sometimes.

somebody actually traded in a toploading nes and got ten bucks for it(fuckin idiot)

Probably just a Local Store for you.

Around my area we have stores called Vintage Stock, and they freaking rock. They're not exactly videogames only, they're a collection store with rare things and stuff. But you can easily find even NES, Genesis, SNES, and there's even Sega CD games there.

They also sell things dirt cheap, you can get Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for like 2$, while you can get Final Fantatsy III(VI) for ... $40!

And I recently found out not everyone knows what Gameco is. I thought for sure Gameco was almost like Gamestop, nationwide, but it isn't.

I don't know about the rest of you, but there is a video game store called Rhino's Video Games around where I live and they not only sell N64 games and acceseries, but they also have NES, SNES, and Genesis games and the consoles themselves! They have the prices set according to rarity or gameplay value. They have FFIII for 50 bucks, SM64 for 30 bucks, and some of the games sell for only 99 cents. Nothing beats crappy games for cheap!

And that's why I prefer Gamestop over EB Games.

I recently bought Perfect Dark for 7$ at Gamestop.

I'd say if you can find first party stuff at Gamestop ... they're really just fine. I bought a Dreamcast, couple of games, and 2 Memory Cards from Gamestop and they work just fine.

But anyways, I'm pretty sure I have the exact same memory card you're talking about and am having the exact same problem. Apparently, my data has suddenly been deleted?

oh, you were talking NEW. Yeah...our used ones are cheap, not alot of places really carry old ones, at least for a good deal. My bad

It's not just at EB. Although it's the best place I've seen to find N64 games. Other places either don't have them or have... *ahem* ...used N64 games. And trust me, I haven't seen one yet that's worth the $19.99 sticker price.

The EB near here sells some N64 games, but apparently we're still stuck in 1998 - $49-59 cart prices.

Super Mario 64 for $39? No thank you. Not these days anyways.

Doom can be played with long-ass passwords...

Gamestop usually has good quality used stuff when I go... maybe that's a regional thing. Sucks that it stopped working, though.

So my longtime N64 memory card no longer works. It was a Performance one, 4x the size of a regular card. Well...third party blows so...I'm glad I learned a few years ago never to buy third party. But by that time...it was too late for my N64! :o So now I can't play Quake II, DOOM 64, Duke Nukem: Zero Hour, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, Castlevania, Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness, etc...all because of my defective card. And I really wanted to replay all those games. Hrumph.

Any idea where to get a sealed Nintendo brand memory card for a good price? And if you can name where to get new N64 games, that'd be great too. Only place I know of is Amazon Marketplace, and possibly eBay. GameStop? Hell if I know if they sell anything but used crap missing the box and manual...
