Holding the Sword of Truth with both hands, Rahl blocked APH's swing. As the blades connected, Rahl willed a fireball to detonate between the two fighters, knowing the only harm he might take was if he landed wrong. |

APH shifts his weight to the sword side and does a roll. He swings at Rahl's chest when he gets back up. |

APH did a backflip to get out of the area of explosion. He then put away his Lighning Sword and took out his Power Sword. He ran up to Rahl, faked a low slash, but instaed brought his blade upward and brought it down on Rahl. |

Rahl parried the lightning bolt skywards, before spinning his blade and slamming it into the ground. The earth under APH exploded upwards. |

"Well, I can't take any chances then, can I?" APH jumps to the side and shoots another lighning bolt at Rahl. |

Rahl Gated into the ground again, before calling out to his opponent's mind. There is something you should know about the Sword of Truth. If every part of my being does not consider you an enemy, I cannot harm you with the blade. It will stop within an inch of your skin.
Rahl then appeared behind APH and slashed at his back. |

"Not if I die anyways." APH rolls away from the sword, now knowing that the other Rahl is an illusion. "I at least want to go down fighting." He takes out several Smash Bombs and throws them in a "V" pattern towards Rahl. |

OOC: Illusions move as fast as your mind thinks they do. 
The illusion continued to dodge, while Rahl made his way around APH, away from the lightning. Raising the Sword of Truth, he placed it on APH's shoulder, edge within an inch of his neck. "Surrender or die." |

OOC: He must be pretty fast to dodge a lightning bolt.
APH keeps trying to hit the illusion with a volley of bolts. |

Both Rahl and the illusion rolled to the side to dodge the lightning bolt. They made no move after they regained their footing. |

"Rahl?" APH points his Lightning Sword towards the illusion, and a bright lighning bolt is shot out in an attempt to stun him. |

OOC: Yes. The silence spell around Rahl hasn't, though.
After the shockwaves finished, Rahl stood back up and resumed his way towards APH's back. As he neared his target, he wove an illusion to his left of himself. If APH attacked it directly, Rahl would attempt to trip him then pin him to the ground with his sword. |

"That probably stunned him." said APH. "I'd better start putting up a real fight."
OOC: The fireball explosions have worn out, right?
APH takes out his Lightning Sword and listens again. |

Rahl dropped to one knee and raised his blade to block the shockwaves. He did take some damage from the sheer force and number of waves, however. |

"Hmmm...I must stop him." APH gets out six Shockwave Daggers and throws them all at the ground in a snowflake shape. Thick shockwaves are released eveywhere. |

Rahl silently drew his blade and made his way towards APH. As the blasts from his spell died down, Rahl wove a silence spell around himself, and used it to cover his approach to APH's backside. |

"Whoa! I should've known he was charging!" APH quickly stops charging his attack, but realizes that the force field should protect him for a while. Suddenly, he realizes, "Great. Now Rahl can move arond and I can't hear him. In that case, I'd better be prepared!" |

Rahl finished his spell, which caused a total of four fireballs to explode around APH, in such a way that no matter what way he moved, or even if he stayed still, he would be in the blast range of one ball. He then quickly made his way towards APH, using the sound of the explosions to cover the sound of his movement. |

"This'll take a while." APH said. "I think I'll begin charging up for an attack." APH closes his eyes, and a blue aura surrounds him. |
