At least clean it out. Another fan would also be a good idea if possible. If that doesn't help it might just be defective.

It heats up my entire room, but winter is over and spring is already here, so it is annoying.

By the way, I have a HP Pavilion ze4125. I will probably get an air gun and blow out the inside for dust and stuff.

What the hell do you have a P4 prescott-core laptop?
I saw a Celery laptop get really hot because there was dust blocking the intale (the thermal throttling was kicking in!)

If your laptop gets that hot, something is wrong with it, or you're way too sensitive to heat...

Well, the vents are not covered. The fan is working, I can hear it. I elevated it with some old Atari games, so it's up above my desk now. It doesn't seem to be working though.

There should be a cooling fan that ejects hot air out to either the side or the back of the laptop.

If the laptop is getting hot, maybe this is covered, or the fan is no longer working.

Should it be elevated or something? Would that help? The only thing covered up is the bottom, and that is because it is sitting on my desk. Any suggestions on cooling it down?

My computer gets hot really quick. When I am gaming or typing, my fingers get really hot and I am starting to get blisters and stuff. Are there any suggestions for what I should do?
