I see... But since there's no difference in the sprites between Super Mario and Cape Mario, I'll assume the wings will be on the back of the boots; nothing else will work without quite a bit editing. And how will you get the area of the cape to be firmly rooted to the boots? I believe that even if you were to make it look good in one frame they'd be sliding all over the place in all the others, and it would look rather poor... |

You pretty much can't. You'll have to design Link in Mario's place. Carefully, and very tediously... And if you make a mistake or put something in the wrong place it'll glitch and look awful and just the wrong time... And some things look like other things so you won't be sure... And you'll have to go back and find out what's wrong... And you also have to make a palette for Link, which will be boring... And come to think of it, why Link? Where will he use his sword, will that be the cape spin? And what if you lose the cape? And if you use the sword for the cape, how will flying work? Can you honestly tell me you're experienced enough to get rid of all these problems? |

ok i downloaded YY-CHR but i cant open the GFX or the original mario game.i also tried other tile editors for the GFX but i cant figure out what is a mario GFX and what isnt.HELP |
