Thnaks every one, I now have my title using the SMW font. Now I have run into a new problem.

First off, I didn't have enough tiles to fit in Super Mario World GOTLE, so I changed the name to Super Mario Era. That a good name or should I change it to something else?

Now the problem I am having is the colours. I wanted the colours to alternate red, blue, green, yellow for each letter of each word. I know how to do this, and have done this, but I ended up using palette 3 and 5. Now when I play in ZSNES, the colours are messed up. I know I can't use certain palettes for the OW and I guess the title, but is it possible to ASM it so they can be used? Thnaks

I was able to create my own font with the pain program. I saved it as a 256BMP.
But, I cant get it to appear in my YY-CHR. I can't find any "Import" option to open it in. I tried opening it anyways, but it was garbage. I ran through the different system types, to see if it would appear, but no luck. Also, the size of my image is 295x209, if that means anything. Hope you can help me again! :-)

I took that font, placed it in my windows/fonts folder, then I opened notepad, opened gfx29.bin Then, I picked the mario world font. But when I did that, all these lines appeared from top to bottom, I made a backup copy of the graphic before I did this, incase of any screwups. so I saved it with the mario font. I inserted the graphic back into the rom, opened the overworld editor. And when I loaded up the title screen, all those lines I mentioned before, were all over the title screen. I even tried finding a way to ues YY-CHR with the font, but there's no option for it. And I've searched, and can't find exact detail on how to do this. Would someone be so kind to help? Just one more time on this issue? Thank You!! :-)

That's the funniest thing I've read in a while.

Anyway... Here's how to do it. Open paint, write something in the mario font, save as a bmp, import it to YY-CHR or something and move the neccesary tiles to empty spots in the title screen GFX file.

Sorry, if that was offensive.
I am just getting tired of all the newbs who wont even try to figure stuff out, or look around before asking. Ya might as well say "I have a great idea for a hack, could someone make it for me? Thanks. LOL"
Sorry, again.

Everyone has to start somewhere. And I take offense to that sly remark.

You don't use ExGFX for the title. You edit the existing GFX for the title. And yes, I will mention this, when commenting on the stupidest member on the board.

Is there a place where I can download the same font as the SMW title? I have tried to construct GOTLE and Goombas Of The Lost Era by hand, but either I run out of space or it looks bad. So if there is a place I can d/l this that would be great.

If not, Aioria, what font is that that you use on your sig picture? Or did you design the letters?
