I first heard a bit of Nightwish at a summer camp... I borrowed it for a night... bedtime music... anyway, I must say, I really liked some of the songs, such as Wishmaster, Nemo, Phantom of the Opera (cover), etc. It's not exactly my favorite kind of music, but I enjoyed some of it nonetheless

I generally like the Epicness they have going on, Tarja just has one of those voices...
Indeed, I didnt listen to them much a few years ago, but now that I have been, I would gladly say they are one of my favorite bands. Though, some of the guitar is lacking, and I love the piano/keyboards played. Very nice touch. |

I personally like the describe them as a more "80s" Symphony X. Weird description, given that they're contemporaries of one another, but that's how I describe them regardless. |

Not accurate, because 20 times 0 is still zero. 
I wouldnt say 0. They're ok for a band that everyone knows about. Not really that great. I'd say about 5/10. |

Yup they are a pretty sweet band.......... ive listened to 'Nemo' several times and it sounds pretty good....
one of my friends is really into them.. he has all their albums and stufff... ill reply back to this thread once ive ''borrowed'' them off him! |

I love Nightwish Tarja is the hot as hell...besides her voice makes me melt.

Yeah, they're pretty good, but give me Children of Bodom and/or Ensiferum any day. Nightwish hasn't really done much to progress thier sound, and their latest sounds like all their other songs. Still like it though. |
