The using the vertical stand is the worse thing you can do to a PS2 second to turning off the ps2 from the back instead of holding the power button for a few seconds.
Anyways, this slim look makes it laptop portable. So, all we need is an LCD screen and a gamer class batter and we have PSone all over again. |

...if you don't get it PStwo is like PS2 just thinner. I don' t think it would use extra things that PS2 dosen't have. Heck it seems that it have less features, but who is using that HD?

Yep, PS2 still more expensive than X-box/Gamecube. Hell if they start as high price with the next generation of consoles they may lose. Mainstream people are not buying a console if there is a alot cheaper one, and if they are both of similar quality.
Maybe it's time for me to get this slim model, or I wait until the PS3. There is actually a few games I want to play. |

There has to be a work around for the HDD thing though... unless they're going to come out with a new model exclusively for the PStwo. That'll confuse some gamers. |

A price cut would be a nice addition, and I was thinking about getting a PS2 recently. The normal PS2 is kind of bulky, at least it seems to me. Or I could just wait like 2 more years and buy one for 10 bucks at a gamestop. |

It would have been good if they had announced it earlier... when everyone didnt have a PS2...
The only ones who will probably get it are the ones who want it for novelty, and the ones that dont have a PS2 in the first place. |

Actually...now that I think of it...if you need a USB port for the keyboard...you won't have a way of having a port for the hard drive...unless it's some weird USB/serial thing...

I agree. Actually, I wouldn't want to get a PS2 anyway. I do want a DS..it has two screens, one of which is touch sensitive, and, if I'm not mistaken, it's cheaper...at least I think it's cheaper than that.  |
