GTK+ is out-dated.
GTK2 is alot better. :| |

so its not quite Delphi, but its close.
The problem with that is, GTK+ sucks under Windows. And you either need to have the GTK+ runtime installed on your system, or have it built into the executable. Which bulks it up even more than a normal Delphi executable.
But, it is better than nothing. |

I haven't tried it but I read that you can download the trial and register with a personal key (official, Borland gives these).

No, there aren't any "free" Delphi compilers. I managed to get my copy off a magazine CD about a year or so ago. There is FreePascal, which is similar, but lacks the entire VCL library, so you have to do GUIs the fun (hard) way. |
