well, if you want to spell check file names you could try the following (Assuming windows):

1) Start->Run and type in "cmd"
2) change folders until you are where all your files are
3) dir > C:\files.txt
4) Go to My Computer->C: and there should be a files.txt file there
5) open files.txt in some application that can spell check

As for batch renaming, try this: Batch File Utility

I have a better one but I'm not sure where I got it from...

I need a program that will spell check about 2000 files file names. I also need one that can do mass re-nameing, meaning that I can make the first letter of every word caps, lowercase etc. A free one with no trial (or a long trial [20 days or so]) would be nice.
