I like www.albinoblacksheep.com with their curser. I think it's really cool. Also is there any programs out there I can use to make CUR files?

Now, how smart is dan?

The only non-standard cursor I would even deem borderline acceptable is the help cursor, for things that well, help and/or inform you. Like mouseover definitions... maybe. And that's pushing it...

That's what I'm talking about...

Only Internet Explorer can do custom cursers outside of the W3C standards...

Technically you -could- do it (I could probably even make you the cursor), it just wouldn't behave the same and would have a triangle in the upper-left corner of the box as an indicator.

Heh.

If you're talking about the special picture cursors, the ones with shitty photographs with little white arrows to show where you're actually pointing, you're looking for Comet Cursors. Which I'm not going to link, because I hate them and I hate you.

What I want is to make the curser to look like the same one as the QuickBasic one. You know: the dos one? That would be cool.

Custom cursors in CSS

this tutorial shows you how to do it.

it is simply to throw the following in the style attribute of some HTML tag.
