In the overworld, piece together the tiles next to the other tiles to the right of the overworld in the Layer 2 8x8 editor. Of course, if you mean actually making your own overworld graphics, that's pretty much the same as working with ExGFX, the only difference being that you put it in the overworld instead of an actual level.

also this may have been answered before but i cant find it, i finished making a level today using exgfx and saved it it works fine, i started on my next level and inserted some new exgfx now , to do that i had to overwrite the map16.bin files with the ones in the other exgfx folder so bear that in mind if neccesary but after i finished my level and saved it i test played it worked fine, i then tryed the level before it , the graphics were glitched as heck, ive managed to get the graphics back but in turn ive glitched the graphics on the other level so how can i use both sets of ex gfx without messing up any of the levels?

You're overwriting the graphics for the levels by overwriting the 16x16 blocks. Use a blue square block only.

Base your hack on DW. Copy and edit it to a new game.

You have to download the IPS and patch the ROM. If you don't know what an IPS is, check the FAQ.

Patch DW to youre hack. TRhat has the breakable brick GFX in it. Voila!
Also, use Tile Layer Pro.

ok people im back after doing all my school work on holiday

right ive started again on my sm hack and i need to ask a couple of things,

ive used the blocktool program to make a breakable brick BUT i cant find a graphic for it and i dont know how to make one , so if you can either tell me where to get one or tell me how to make one that will be fine and dandy , also if you can point me in the direction of a decent tile editor id appreciate that too
