I'm just curious if there's a SMRPG Shop editor for Windows, not Mac like the one that Zophar's Domain has. I've been looking for one for hours. |

Maybe they are in the middle of a redesign too? ()
romhacking.com died on July 22, 2005. The admin, Inverse, was arrested (no one knows why) and since he never updated his webpage or the MB on account of being in jail, the site died.
Heck, why do you think I am posting here, bugging you guys with my questions. |

They're very similar. I like SMB2T better, beecause of the way its layed out. And there's a slightly bigger screen than SMB2D. |

I think the SMB2Transmogrificator is probably a fork of SMB2d. I came across it last year whilst browsing SourceForge. |

People said that Acmlm's editor is more stable, but I kinda like this one a bit better. And since there's the source code, maybe someone can finish this editor, since it's more recent. |

In response to the reply above me, that SMB2Transmogrificator looks increadibly like Acmlm's editor except the layout is different (position-wise). Everything else looks exactly like Acmlm's. I'm going to have to check the website again and make sure this isn't some kind of joke.
Even the way you access it is the same. Type in the filename. I'm wondering if the author based his editor on a build of Acmlm's since he does mention it is (everything I said above) in the last news post.
If you wanted the source code for Acmlm's editor, this is pretty close. Only a few differences (mostly the one with how the screen is displayed (one 16x16 tile to the right of a page and two below)
I'm confused now, I honestly can't tell which one is better. I think Acmlm's but I'm not sure now. 2000 (Acmlm) vs 2002 (Transmogrificator). |

Well, for anyone who wants to even look at Dreamweaver get it here. I even forgot that I hosted that.
This is what it looks like...
I remeber that Keitaro said that he's tweakin the editor for SMAS support. Check out the thread here.
And just for kicks, take a look at The SMB2 Transmogrificator, another SMB2 editor, hope that helps...
EDIT - Here's what smb2trans looks like...

Just so you know, I unstickied and closed this thread earlier with intentions on re-writing it, but I never got around to it. The reason I did was because people began to use this as an editor request thread rather than reading the first post. |

There isn't any functional SMB2 editors other than Acmlm's SMB2D. There's an unfinished editor called Dreamweaver, but I'm not sure if it actually edits anything. |

I know for sure that there is another one.. Although it isn't talked about anymore and I don't have any links that can help you with that..
The only one I know that you'd most likely have to use is Acmlm's editor.. Unless someone else knows more information than I do of course. |

It's desnet.fobby.net now. And I can think of a ton of utilities that aren't available on those sites. (Well, not a ton, but quite a few) |
This is a long thread. Click here to view it. |
