*Nodnod* Fable is truely an awesome game.
However, I only rented it and managed to beat it with only 11 hours. The storyline isn't much either, and being a bad guy is MUCH more fun than being a good guy. 'Cept for the bugs that fly around you. That made me look a lot less cool. -.-;
The only spells I really used were double strike and ghost sword. Oh, how I loved ghost sword. Those little guys were my best friends. ^-^
And I agree with apple. Morrowind>Fable. |

I figured summoning out and now I have one of those crazy armored monsters with 2 sided swords following me around, its too awesome! |

Don't get me wrong, Fable is a very fun game but it isn't worth the 60 dollars. Currently, I have EVERYTHING (Item wise), max stats, 4 wives (and 3 husbands), and I only have 21 hours in. I beat the game in 7 hours my first time playing and I DID LOTS OF QUESTS (I have them all done now).
But yeah. I just been running around kicking chickens, stabbing children, hitting females with sticks, and breaking windows.
I got kicked out of Oakvile... I had a fine of 109,320

But is the fighting fun? Because I dont mind leveling up for hours if the leveling up is actually fun.
And can I like make a magic samurai with super speed who can jump really high? |

You wont be dissapointed.  I've spent countless hours playing this game, and I haven't even touched the main quest yet. I'll probably still be playing this 20 years from now.
Oh, get the GOTY edition and not the Platinum one. You don't want to miss out on the two expansions.  |

Well, technically you can. Download it.
But I'm playing the X-Box GOTY edition version.
Leveling up in the game is different. You have a bunch of skills. (Longsword, Magic using, magic crafting, acrobatics, athletics, blah blah blah) And the more you use them, the more they'll level up.
Take Acrobatics and Athletics for example. If you keep running and jumping enough, you'll gain 1 point in that skill. After you level up 10 skills, you level up your character. So technically, you could level up to level 50 just by jumping. It would take you awhile though because you're not doing anything else.
You could be very efficient at wearing Heavy Armor and be a bad ass mage as well. It all depends on what you actually do. It's kind of weird to explain but it's not complicated. Read a review at Gamefaqs.
The world is big enough to be it's own MMORPG. I started a new game and I've spent that last 20 hours doing stuff on a small portion of one coastline. And there's still a shitload to do. Get the GOTY edition and you have two expansion packs to mess with. |

Im all for long games but I like for the adventuring to be long not the leveling up. I never had to spend hours leveling up on ToS and that game was over 50 hours.
Ive never played Morrowind....can I get it for free somewhere? |

Yeah, I didnt die either...although my little brother, he musta died 3 times...although for me it wasnt as glitchy as you described it..only real glitch is when I saw lady grey fall though the floor...and that beserk and save thing...and I would play morrowind...but I cant find it lol...its somewhere...but yeah, morrowind is the best, I must have played it for 100 hours, and havent even scratched the surface... |

But this game inspired me to start playing Morrowind again. You should give that a try if you haven't. It rules. You could literally spend 500+ hours playing this game. It's hyoooge. |

32? I got mine up to 50 fighting Zombies, thats also how I maxed out every skill.
This game was a big ol let down, if only wouldnt have promised me so much than I could deal with it but c'mon thats just rediculous.
I still found Fable alot funner than Star Ocean 3 though...which I still havnt got around to beating  |

What's the highest you got your combat mod up to? I got 32. It happened when you have to save that guy right before they ship him off on the boat. During the part where the timer starts, and you have to run down that hill with all the undead enemies popping out, I just ran by all of them. Then at the bottom, when I had about....20-25 enemies around me I used Enflame which just so happened to be maxed out. XP galore. Enflame kicks ass.

Yeah. i liked Fable alot.. I liked its INTENTIONS alot. i liked its innovations alot.
But something felt.. off.. like.. i cant puit my finger on it. I thought the difficulty was about right. I like not dying in an RPG. I have only died once so far, but the battles are usually fun and drawn out a little bit.
With all that tho, I think Fable 2 is going to be freakin nuts. |

Well, I beat it.
And I hereby declare this game THE EASIEST FUCKING GAME OF ALL TIME!
I didn't die once, never used a res potion.....wtf? Not once did I fear for my characters life. Holy hell, I had like....75 health potions and only used a few during the whole game. Good god. Here's a huge sidequest for you: Try to see the death screen. It's almost impossible I tell you.
I killed the sister in the end and the Aeon Sword fucking pwns. Too bad you can't use it during the regular game. 
Hollllly shit, those were the longest game credits I've ever seen. Did they REALLY have to list all of the game testers?
And shit, what the hell were they doing all these years? This is a 10 hour game, even if you do the quests and what have you. If it weren't for all the hype, I would say it's a pretty decent game. But they said it was going to revolutionize gaming as we know it. Well, they tried to do the same thing Morrowind and KOTOR did a long time ago, but failed. 
I should have bought SO3.  |

Yeah this game is glitched up like crazy, I can see the earth trolls before the come up from the ground ALL the time. I was thouroghly let down, the game isnt bad but for what was promised i feel jipped. |

Well, I just got done with the arena. I killed Whisper but GOOD! The arena part of the game was pretty fun albeit rediculously easy, even in just my boxers. :/
This game is a let down but it's still pretty fun. It's like they tried to make another KOTOR but failed miserably. And I hate how being evil makes you lose your hair.
Hopefully they'll get it right the next time around.
Oh, almost forgot, this game is FILLED with bugs and gltiches. Good lord, almost as bad as The Matrix. I stepped on a carpet and got stuck. I had to teleport to get unstuck.
Also, I tried teleporting and right before I did, the screen that tells you that you have been fined came up. Game froze. |

I didnt beat the game until I was maxed out in everything, and I still beat the game in half the time it took me to beat ToS. |

yeah, it wasnt what it was promised to be.....beat it in about 10 game hours, was trying to stall beating the game by looking for all I could find, and getting alot of exp, but in the end, beat it way before they said it was possible to beat it.....they said 30+ hours..... |

All in all I gotta say that Fable wasnt as revolutionary as promised. I wont really have awesome memories of it years from now. Its was just another game i beat too soon...that made me look they way i behaved. |
