OK, in that case $10 max and that's only if the cart itself is working 100%.
eBay might be VERY useful as well, especially if you order from people with stellar feedback. |

Nope, shreded to hell. I'm not going back there ever again. I'm probably going to do a flea market crawl once I get my NES and SNES back. |

...
If I could get away with charging $300 on eBay for FF3, I'd have done it a LONG time ago.
$60 for OOT I can see if it was a mint copy though. |

I saw it today at a flee market. 90 dollars it was!
All of the games at that accursed place were overpriced.
300 for FF3 60 for Zelda: OOT 1000 for a working Sega Mastersystem.
Fools will buy anything I say. |

I managed to semi-enjoy my friend's Atari 2600... Of course, that was when you could buy the system for $49 and games for $10. |

I had lots of fun with the NES before I had anything newer (Genesis, SNES), but it's the only old console/computer I've really had a chance to enjoy ... we never had a Commodore 64, Atari or anything like that, although I might have seen some of those a little bit
And I haven't tried emulators for those either ... |

Oh... DIZZY! I liked the NES games when they came out, but even at that young age I had read enough mags to know that the Dizzy series was a hit in the UK.
Must look at the other ones... Meh. I'm sure there's a Dizzy shrine (or 5) on the net. |

C64? I was practically raised on the C64. It helped me learn the alphabet. (this was in about 1988) I still have it, but I use emulation now... |

There were PC ports of Giana Sisters made - so it's not like Nintendo can avoid them now.
Still looked at as one of the best C64 games made, DESPITE it's similarities to the Nintendo classic. Just MINOR similiarities, yes... |

Yeah, Great Giana Sisters was C64. Its ultra-rare now since most copies were pulled by Nintendo. I've never played it, but some people swear its the best platformer ever. Not suprising when it was basically a Mario clone/ |

The Spectrum Emu kicks arse, and now most ROMS are legal.
Hunt down all the Dizzy Games. |

I've played... um... Great Giana Sisters. That was C64, right?
That's one of the systems I haven't bothered to emulate yet, but it lasted a looooong time. Mainly popular in the United Kingdom. |

I think we may have but it was a crap version, that may have even been a Sam Coupe game (anyone remember THOSE? I Doubt it...)
As for Bubble Bobble, I could get it for my phone you know.... I already have Puzzle Bobble and Tetris.... |

I've got a C64 ROM of Fantasy World Dizzy. We had Lemmings but the graphics were so bad I couldn't tell what the little icons were. You can get Bubble Bobble for the GBA now as well, but you'd never get me off it so I won't start. I can't begin to describe how much I love that game *hums the music* Did the Spec get Parasol Stars because I know we didn't? |

Fantasy World Dizzy was the best one, not sure if it came out for the C64 though. Lemmings was a Mutiload game (oh how I HATED those....)
Rainbow Islands and Bubble bobble are better served on the PSX believe it or not... |

Toph: How many of those games have you actually played? Mayhem in Monsterland got a 100% review in Commodore Format, can we say publicity stunt children? |

Chad - God knows, I just know the +3Basic was very easy to program.
Kas- The Speccy had Lemmings, Dizzy, Bubble Bobble AND Rainbow ISlands. Never heard of that other game you talked about, we also had Monty Mole, Chucky Egg, Manic miner and "How to be a Complete B****d"

Elmo- Even with plastic keys, the keyboard still looked pretty bad quality... The C64 had Mahem in Monstorland, Lemmings, Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands and Dizzy! |

I remember playing Horace and the Spiders on the Speccy, my mom threatened to move out because the music was driving her insane. I'm showing my age Whats the diff between the Spec's BASIC and the C64 BASIC then? |

My Speccy is still alive *shrugs*
Besides, did the C64 have Castle Master? I THINK NOT
Plus +3 Basic kicked arse. |
