Tripod doesn't only support pictures, but it's free and easy enough to use. Only problem is that you have to upload a second time if you want to link to an image directly, since you have to do that .txt trick otherwise, and most good browsers don't handle the .txt trick well when direct linked.

Anyway, looking pretty spiffy.

Well... this stinks... I can't get to my Photobucket account... again. Anyone know of another place that supports only pictures and is free?

1-5. Unfortunatly, the level is short, but that is due to lack of space...

1-6. Monkeys are used a lot in this level.

I just finished the demo & I liked it. you come up with good levels design, I can't wait to play the full game. Keep up the good work Cpubasic13.

It will be called "Hey, hey, We're the Monkeys!" It will have various monkeys and stuff and possibly use the rarely used Sub tileset as in 3-3. That is a good tileset, but I will probably use the mud tileset...

...I can't believe I am already done with 1-5. Short level.

Now I am working on 1-6. I have a level name for it... just haven't really started making the level. All I can tell you is that there are going to be Monkeys. Take a guess on what the name of the level is...

I will have screens up soon, so...

Awesome. Yes, I'm saying this as a beta tester but I had never played one half of 1-3 and 1-4 before.

Oh, so that is what you mean... ok, I will fix that. I have a similar error with the level I am currently working on and I know how to fix it. I just have to add another one of those sprites...

Seems PhotoBucket is down... all my pics have disappeared... including my layout... so if you can't see them, don't blame me.

EDIT: Changed layout... so had to cross out saying layout is gone...

At the start of the level, there's one of those invisable pipe things going down. If you jump in the middle, you go to the rest of the level. If you jump in the right, you die.

I am also enjoying this new level. It is really cool. This might be my favorite level... although it may be short. I have little to work with in 1-5. I am using room... DC, I think... to make some more of the level. I might use some of the bonus rooms to make more of the level.

As for Squash Monster's bugs he found...

1-1: I am still working the bugs with that helicopter... there are a bunch of bugs for it...
1-3: Ummm... aren't you supposed to die when you jump down a pit? I am sure you are...

I like this one, you've got a certain style that contrasts with the original.

Found a two bugs:
1-1 : The screen blockers above the level act funky in places. At one point, I had the helicopter up there, and it ran out, and the screen had a lot of trouble finding its way back and I died.

1-3: If you jump down the right side of the pit at the start, you die.

Well, here it is. The first demo of Yoshi's New Isle... contains 4 complete levels and a new intro level. There are a few bugs, but they are very minor as they don't mess up gameplay.

Here are the screens.


Intro level. Message box message needs to be fixed inside as it looks weird... too weird...

1-1: The New Isle

1-2: Chomp This!

1-3: Harry's Hot Caves

1-4: Burt the Bashful's Fort

Now there are a few issues I am aware of. The helicopter puzzle in 1-1 still needs a little tweaking. Intro level has a weird thing with the tunnel slopes. 1-4 needs a little more bricks in various places...

Also, 1-4's ending may seem a little weird. THERE IS A GOOD REASON IT IS! Somehow when I placed CC at a -1 height, it crashed Eggvine and corrupted the preboss room and the boss room. Somehow it seems that they have intertwined with each other... so I had to use room 99 to make the preboss room. DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS PLEASE!!!

Enjoy it. If you are confused on how some of the stuff works, try opening it up in Eggvine and see how I used some of the... more complicated stuff... if you want.
