You're looking for somehting like Klik N Play, right?
Then get either The Games Factory, Multimedia Fusion or Click n Create... the last one is the hardest to find... The Games Factory is the easiest to find and get.. a goolge search + the word 'download' shall do the trick. But Multimedia Fusion is the one with more extra stuff.. the interface is JUST LIKE KNP.. |

Probably a remake of mario, with loads more levels, more powerups, mini games and other stuff
although im making a remake of Jade cocoon on RPG Maker 2k3 but i can't find a way of capturing the creatures you fight |

Go to the homepage, download the editable games.

Study the components and how the event strings are arranged and you'll get a better feel for it. What game do you plan to make BTW? Perhaps I can be of assistence. |

The Game Maker interface has you create objects with specific sets of instructions then put them into the play area. Is that really so different that you can't work with it?
I don't think your own lack of skill really can be used to justify saying that Game Maker is crap.
You ought to try a real programming language (or VB or something, if you'd prefer). |

It has a crappy interface... I rather like those ones that you just drag an object or player from the edge of the screen, drop it in the play area, give it instructuions and away we go... GameMaker doesnt have that... the best game I ever made with that was one where you move a ball around the screen trying to collect the moving balls - HOW CRAP |

Anyone know of any thing that works like the thing i got called klik 'n play? Just one that lets you make side scrolling games... Although you might not of heard of klik and play |
