Yeah, geocities will let you upload a zip file.
But they wont let you upload a rar file, only zips, so...beware  |

Have you tried uploading it in a ZIP? I've never used geocities, but I'm pretty sure they'd accept it then. |

I already have some shots from the in-demo stages ready, I'm planning on including them in the topic with the demo itself.
Your suggestion looks good other than the fact that the site appears to be too busy to let me register right now :/...as soon as I can get the file uploaded I'll be ready. My geo****ties account wouldn't let me upload an IPS file, which is why I asked. |

If all you want is to host a download, I would suggest freeweb, since its extremely quick to set up an account, whereas with geocities or lycos you need to give them a boatload of info and they need to verify your account and shit. Its not really any trouble, but 1 minute set up is better than 10. |

I've got a two-world demo of my first hack IPS'd and ready to go, but I need somewhere to upload it. Can anyone give me a good free site to use? Or if anyone else would be willing to host it for a while, that'd be appreciated, too. |
