Sorry you don't like the background, but since your the only one who thinks it sucks, I am leaving it. Blah to you.

That's getting very annoying very fast.

IN any case you could pick a much better background (that one sucks, plain and simple) and... argh, simply.

I'll throw my third cent in and s ay that the layout's beyond help

That didn't work, but remember, I don't know what I am doing anyway. If someone wants to try to help me, talk to me on AIM or Yahoo. I like it the way it is.

In whatever tag has the background, probably a TD.

Put
style="background: white url('whatever') right"
and you are good to go.

make sure to put the `url` and parentheses. Those weren't to clarify, you need those. Just replace `whatever`. Leave the single quotes too, if you want to be awesome.

Well, that wallpaper is pretty cool, but all you did was slap a url in the post background field. Then when you realized it looked dumb, you likely took a peak at the acmlm board code to see the standard post width, then added white to your bg accordingly. This will not work when your post is stretched in any way. So, cut it up. Take your wallpaper and remove any white, from the left in, until you see the tiniest detail. Then, take your blue spirally thing which will be in a snug image area, and go and host it. Then all you need is some very simple code, maybe like this:
<br><table width=100% height=100% cellspacing=0 bgcolor=white><br><td width=100% height=heightofbluething style=background: url(urlofbluething) <br>no-repeat bottom right; padding-right: widthofbluething+20; padding: 20px><br>Post goes here, define font and such<br></td></table>
Remove the <br> tags in that code.

Edit: actually, that blue thing really lashes out. So maybe the "padding-right" can be adjusted so the text is partially engulfed by some subtle shadow and tentacle.

I knew I would run into this problem. It looks fine on 1024x768, but other resolutions will look weird. Could someone tell me how to align the background pic to the right somehow to fix this?

I have the exact same background image in wallpaper form. It actually looks quiet good as a layout background. Great job their Akmlm

That size is horrible. Wonder what I could do to make it smaller....

Does that look ok? Lowered the resolution a bit....

From what I see, the capital letters are slightly bigger than the rest. I would also suggest a new font.

If it stretches well, as Cymoro just pointed out, it will be cool.
I suggest changing the font. Capitals is just a bit annoying. Then again my default computer font is capitals, so I'm sick of it and could be biased regarding that.
