Nice job providing a dual-language site. Nice editor, too.

With this and Nephi (you know what'd be REALLY nice? An option to "Save -> Edit Overworld" which would close Nephi and open this one with the same ROM and vice versa. w00t.

With this I may get back into the active ROM hacking area instead of the passive one (Passive: just kinda following it, where Active is actually doing projects and such)

I've always wanted to see a sequel to the LA game

It looks like this will be a very good editor. I hope you will release it soon. Then we all can hack both outside areas and dungeons for this game... It looks very easy to use too, since the data isn't stored in the 32x32 way like Zelda3 (a link to the past)...

Looking good and friendly. Seems youre planning a great deal of features for overworld editing. Excellent. Soon i'll release my own editor, soon Z4 hackers will have ultimate power

And here im sitting at school in beginner basic VB lessons.. *wants to go home*

Ya, I found more since then.

Nephi ONLY edits the GBC version dungeons, so it's already Zelda DX compatable. It doesn't work on the GB version though.

Here's the rest that I got so far:

11ae1 - somthing to do with sprite 29, small moldorm.

1fb6b - bomb chest data

d117 - amount of bombs found in a chest

1f2d8

1fbeb - chest data for chest 22

10a0a - slime eyes ASM data

d645 - drop table--item slot for piece of power.

d0e8

d45e - ASM for what's in the chest that appears when event 0D is triggered(pot smashed against a chest)

d456 - x position of the chest in event 0D

d45a - y position of the chest in event 0D(x and y are on even axis)

1bc6c - one of the two sprites that appear when a red Zol is struck

1bc8a - second sprite for zol

d453 - what tile triggers event 0D

d47e - what clip byte triggers event 0D

a7f9

f648 - somthing to do with what the arrows can hurt

ea40 - bow ASM

3476 - what tile has a warp on it(3 entries)

3468 - what tile appears after event 6 and a are triggered(stairs)

This doesn't include the monster weaknesses/armour/misc data.

Awesome work on both projects! Can't wait to see more.. have great hopes for it Since it'll be a Win tool, it'll surely be way better then the dos versions..

Please do. I think I'm the only one who's ever done a hack of the game. That reminds me, if anybody is interested, I should post some of my ASM related findings and stuff.

Here's what Chickenlump had in his rom offsets archive.. (all by you.. not sure if you made more throught):

Offset for level floor tiles - 80589 - 4c

Enemy graphics 831d3 - 01

Wall graphics 805aa - 40

Block graphics 805ca - 79

Special object graphics 82eb0 - ff

Staflos ASM - 57bb8

chest asm? 81d2

enemy drop table? d635

Spiky's ASM 1f7e0

Level 6 warp event asm - ba60

Dungeon 1-6 clip bytes - 20bd4

E3dc - part of hookshot event ASM, sort of. Room in which item sfx is heard.

DC9C - room where hookshot gfx is displayed.

E492 - room where more hookshot data is. prevents sprite 30 from acting like
a key.

9EAF - X position of appearance cloud when chest event is triggered(format similar to warp data - X + 8)

9ECB - Y postion of appearance cloud when chest event is triggered(similar to warp data - Y + 16)

9ED6 - y position of location that tells the game to spawn the chest a tile above or below it's current spot. If not reset to match chests, you can get stuck if you let a chest spawn over you. Could also be used to make a cool puzzle, but without gettin stuck I don't know how.

9EE0 - x position of chest respawn location

9DED - same for stairs? X

9DF1 - same for stairs? Y

D8A24 - room locations of owl statue text

D89Fc - Text values for owl statues.

9442 - x position of the key that falls down from the celing.

9458 - y position of the key that falls down from the celing.

9433 - sprite that falls down upon triggering event 8

9437 - sprite that falls down upon triggering event 8 outside of a dungeon(gold leaf).

9083 - y position of the dive warp ASM in level 5

908D - x position of the dive warp ASM in level 5

907D - which room has the dive warp ASM, possible other values, will need further testing.

64201 - mini boss warp point rooms. Two byte pairs for each level.

Ok!

But Nephi isn't able to edit the dungeons of the GBC version, or is it?

I'm working on it.
Why should I support dungeons? Nephi supports dungeons so it's not necessarily. I think I could do a English translation if you want
But before I can release the outdoor map editor I have to find the events. I'll search for them today but I can't promise that I'll find them.

P.S.: Perhaps you'll see me here more often in the next time ^^

Great! Is this editor finished? Or is it still being worked on? Looks really neat so far!

Yay for Zelda: LA hacking. Definately one of the finer games on gameboy.

Its looking very nice, even if it is in German This tool may persuade me to do a little hack of this game

Nephi has dungeon support. It's also being ported to windows.

That editor looks mighty cool. That seems really awesome!

As for that second editor, wow! I don't think that the other editor has an overworld editor. That is amazing! Hope you have dungeon support and have an english translation... well... at least have dungeon support...
