quite simple  at one point, I beleive on the Islands though correct me if I'm wrong, a rocket says "aren't you Giovani's kid? No...he has red hair." So you figure, saying it to the boy, whatever. he thinks you look like him. But what if you were the girl. acording to the OFFICIAL manga, ENDORCED by Saotoshi whatshisass, the creator of Pokemon...Blue, the female character, is the sister of Kamon, the red-headed rival. Now, why do you think he would confuse you for him, unless he'd obviously seen the two of you together and got you confused. Kamon states in GSC that he hates team rocket. Probably because the team rocket at that time is no longer endorced or run by Giovani, but by some asshats who don't know what they are doing. H probably has the same mindset as his father...team rocket sucks now. So he wants to get rid of them (as you recall, Giovani abandons team rocket at the end of the RBY saga. So who's to day he didnt pass his ideology onto his son?) Also, Giovani is bad at the begining of RBY and becomes good near the end. The same applies to Kamon.
perhaps it isn't SOLID proof, but think about it. |

I...don't know, but. I am very much afraid of Deoxys after what I saw it do to Blue in the Manga  oh, and, if anyone is interested. I do have undeniable proof through Fire Red that Giovani's son is the rival, Kamon, from GSC |

To tell you the truth...I'm looking at Deoxys stats now between Fire Red and Green Leaf and...Fire Red's stats aren't bad, Green Leaf's suck...and my personal opinion is that Mewtwo could easily be a better Psychic than Deoxys could. |

Prier: another way you can "cheat"...open your save in the other version. its how I got bellsprout...what can I say, I perfer victreebell to vileplume. I'm not sure which is better as far as the newest slew of stats go, but I always perfered him (and I'm a little sick of oddish as its all I ever ran into in sapphire  ) |

Tried cheating for Deoxys.
Oy.
Grabbing the tickets didn't work, even with the DMA Disable on, putting a Deoxys in the wild went down that he was a bitch to catch and when I did...now he doesn't even obey me (got him at Lv. 31 and I can have Lv. 70s obey).
I have a feeling I won't be able to cheat...at least with this crap. |

er, i definatly meant fire/dragon XD but yeah. FLying/Dragon does suck, which is why I perfer Salamence to Dragonite (if he's flying/dragon then i'll just shut up, but I'm pretty sure he's a pure dragon ) and I knew he was trade-obtained, Porygon2, but he has to hold them item Upgrade in order for it to work. |

Porygon2 is obtainable by trade since Gold/Silver/Crystal...and it sucks. Trust me...I've tried him and he's not worth the amount of effort you put through with him.
Flying/Dragon is even worse. One decent attack with an ice-type and your Pokemon is pretty much done for. A level 100 Dragonite, in my opinion, isn't as good as a Lv. 100 Dragonair even with the stats being lower (however, if both are used together and moves aren't synonymous to each other, it can create some REAL problems for your opponent).
Just got through getting badge 7 and...hello...I just found my way to One Island - Three Island. Yup. Now I can start trading stuff from R/S and Colluseum...
...if I had a way to get it there.
And also...for those of you that have high hopes of getting Lugia, Ho-oh, and Deoxys...heh...they're on Eight Island and Nine Island. Here's the problem: You can't access them unless you get a Nintendo event.

Its to my understanding you can get an Upgrade (presumably form collosseum, i'm very very certain you buy it or win it, or somthing simmilar), and well....Porygon2 was always a bit of a tank
Heh. I remember getting a Porygon for the first time in my old game. I had red, so I was stuck with paying 99999 coins, instead of blue's 65000. I remmeber, after about my 40th or so time beating the elite 4, i managed to PURCHASE 99999 coins (keep in mind it was like, 1000 dollars for 50 coins) and had an assload of spare change left over....it was kinda funny actualy |

Charmander's decent...Charmeleon's decent...
...and then it evolved...and it went to Flying.
Then it lost against anything Ice or Thunder related...and REALLY lost against the Rock types. Only saving grace is it's ability to evade Ground attacks...but a Koffing/Weezing can do that now and it's not Flying. |

Actually Psychic versus Psychic sucks major ass. It was just the best defensive move I had up my sleeve at the time. If it was up to me, I'd use a Dark type against it (i.e. Houndoom) and CRUNCH it's sorry ass.
And not all Psychics are weak against Ghost moves. Get a Girafarig. Psychic/Normal. Ghost moves don't even affect it. |
