GIF? It's an JPG file...
Smaller in size? Try PNG. It may make the picture smaller in size without losing to much quality. |

See how I don't have the odd space below the layout?
That's because my title and location aren't stretching out the normal heigth of my post.
If she'd change that, there wouldn't be an empty space.
But as said, she rather not, so the empty space below the layout will probably stay.
The blank area is supposed to stay that way; it's just a filler color for a layout that doesn't stretch out in width, I'm sure you've seen more of those, just without a color added.

Very nice  I like the use of colours... The Lilacs work really well and it feels really soothing
The void at the bottom does look odd, and I can't think of anything to fill it with but the colour you're filling the right-most part of the table with. That'd be the simplest way to fix it, but I'm sure you'll think of something |

That's what I figured. I took it down for a bit (the loaction part) but having it there for so long, I sorta missed it.   Anyway,..like I mentioned before, I might add something to the "blank" area, but I've been hella busy. |

hmm, the layout looks good, I quite like the purple(or pink?) color of the layout.
Why not try to put one parent <div align="center"> to make the whole layout center? Beware though, as the text inside the layout will inherit the "center" attribute..
