I'd go with Ailure's advice. The timing on a home DDR pad is off from the arcade versions but getting Stepmania on your computer will allow you to make the timing bitch you out if you're off by even a millisecond, so the loss from the arcades is considerably smaller. Also, you can download new mixes that fans make, and the like. |

Why not buying a Dance pad, a USB contact download stepmania and use it instead of DDR? Alot cheaper.

As long as you like DDR, I can't see you balking at that investment. Dance away and burn calories to your heart's content. (Or discontent.)
Regarding wrestling games... Games from Japan >>> Games from USA. The pace in Japan is slower, and as such the games require a lot more strategy than the arcade-style (in many cases) US games.
Doesn't mean they're bad at all though. |
