Pikmin is a Player's Choice title so it sold well enough to qualify for that distinction.
Maybe not as well as Mr. Miyamoto thought it would though. |

Miyamoto said that Pikmin was going to sell amazingly.
He forgot that the world is broken. Pikmin would've sold well if people cared how good games are, becouse Pikmin bloody rocked.
And I like those screens. Someone should make a fangame that looks like that rather than ripping SMW graphics all the time. |

Yeah, but you are wrong so...
Even at the last E3 Nintendo wasn't going to show Mario 128 because they don't want anyone... stealing ideas. |

What about Miyamoto himself?
Oh, and do a googe search for "mario 128 is a real game" for more. |

I stand by the fact that it is Mario on a 128 bit system. A lot of people are going to argue and say that I'm wrong.
Its the closest thing to Mario 128 right now. Which next to no news has been given. Consider Mario Sunshine the Mario 128 until you can confirm that Mario 128 isn't just a pipe-dream. |

Mario 128 is SUPPOSE to be a sequel to Mario 64 but nothing is set in stone yet. But it's definitely going to feature both Mario and Luigi. |

They announced it long ago, and those screenshots aren't of any real game. |

If they were real, the new game would've been announced, which hasn't. I've seen no game which the screenshots were out without an official announcment. |

You examine your fecal matter? EEEEEEW!! |

Those pictures are just tech demos to show pretty rendering powers of the Game Cube console. If that. It looks like someone just 3D-ified any random Mario setting. And did a nice job of it.

Mario 128 is a game. It was called Mario Sunshine. |

ARRRRRGH!
I remember this topic a LONG time ago
Let me put my following words on auto-cool:
MARIO 128 IS A REAL GAME! IT IS NOT JUST AN OLD DEMO!
For fucks sake.
Ok, I'm calming down now...
So yeah, what I said. I know that it might have BEEN a demo at one point to show off the graphical and processor features of the Gamecube, but it has long since been made into plans for a new game. Mario 128 is just a working title and is most likely going to be changed.
Oh, and those screenshots are soooo horribly faked. |

Um, the last Mario game that came out was Super Mario Sunshine. Some liked it, some didn't. But don't tell me SM64 was a failure.
I'd ASSUME it'll be a GameCube game (which makes sense if the new system has GC compatibility) but who knows? |
