Well, if Ludwig is too small, or too wierd for size, tell me. Who else throws fireballs and/or jumps around? I used Ludwig because it's the only one that's different from the other koopa kids. The others are just copies of the other bosses, floating moat on lava, wack a koopa-kid, and walkin up walls closing in battles. Whch I can't imagine seeing Bowser fitting into any of these in a SMW hack.

Its quite easy to change sprite size with the correct utilites. Just have MSpaint, irfanview, YY-Chr, Emulator, BGmapper and SMAS. Savestate where you want the bowser sprite, view that savestate in BgMapper. Press 0 in BGM and save the Vram GFX. Now open up the vram gfx in paint and copy down bowser and assemble the tiles correctly. Now make bowser fit perfectly on the screen and save that picture. Open it in Irfan view and resize it to the size of Ludwig...what ever that might be. Now copy the image and paste it in YY-chr. Now the pixles will be a bit messed up, but you will have the shape and outlines. Just get rid of the extra pixles and color it correctly.

BTW, how many 16x16 blocks does ludwig take up? If its 2 by 2 then I have the perfect bowser sprite. I think ludwig is a weird size tho, like 1.5 by 1.5 so...a bit of resizeing would be needed.

I was pretty sure you can change background images and level design layouts and enemies, pipes, etc, but I guess bosses are another thing. Am I right?

The sprites of bosses you can find exporting all graphics with the option "use joined graphics" in Lunar Magic enabled. With the allgfx.bin created, you can find it, but it's desordenated, a little hard to change the sprites. As changing the size of the SMB3 Bowser, I think the only way to do it is editing pixel by pixel, what will give you much trouble.

Uhm... simple tile editing can probably do that. *sigh*

This is not a bad idea, but I don't know if it will works. The sprites of Boswer from SMB3 is too big (I think) for Ludwig. Also you'll need to design the shell following Mario after jump on Ludwig's head. Maybe with Boswer from SMB, it is a little small.

Yes! This idea is cool! But I don't know if is possible change the sprites of the bosses. I think that if is possible, we will have to do something in the ASM.

If it's possible to change sprites of bosses, here's an idea.

Get SMB3 Bowser sprites from All Stars.

Use them on Ludwig Koopa, the one that can throw fire and spin its shell. I think this could make a perfect Bowser alternative.

Change the boss area to Bowser's final castle theme.

There, we have a new Bowser for SMWorld hacks.

What ya'll think about this idea? That is, if it's even possible to do that, assuming so.
