Well I couldn't help noticing an IDE port stuck on to my PS2's network adaptor, so I did the natural thing and crammed a hard drive onto it to see if it could substitute as a memory card. Well it doesn't appear to do much of anything, but the little LED stuck on the HD itself (which when in a computer basically does the same as the HD LED on the motherboard) just keeps blinking. Normally it only does this when the cable's connected backward but of course this is impossible given the layout of the connectors. Any ideas why it's doing this? Dead hard disk, or the PS2 just doesn't like it? And does sticking a 2GB hard disk into a PS2 actually do anything useful?
