The way I've been playing hacks on my actual SNES is with a copier.
http://www.tototek.com/ sells them for as low as $35, but a good one is probably about $70. They also sell flash cartridges for the SNES so you can put your game on a real cart.
I'll take the real deal over an emulator any day |

Of course not. You must have a chipped XBOX and a snes emulator game. Then insert the emulator into your dvd drive, navigate to find roms, then place your games in there. |

OK, ok, ok. Lemme get this straight... Put an emulator and a rom onto a dvd drive and pop it into your xbox? That's how it works? |

I used to have a DC, sold it because I got tired of PSO and Sonic. Now I wish I would have kept it. |

I love the Dreamcast when it comes to emulation. SNES emulation isn't quite 100% speed, but it can be done, with practice and some spare blank CD's. I hear great things about X-Box as well, for emulation. Hundreds of gameboy games and nes games on cd's that I can just pop into my Dreamcast and play at full speed.... *drool*
Dreamcasts are SUPER cheap right now...and I do mean CHEAP! Grab one and give http://www.dcemulation.com a visit. Gosh, I love my Dreamcast.... *sniff* |

Yah, i use my modded xbox as an emulator, and its great, but there is nothing like an actual SNES controller for playing your hack. |

Ok!
Almost as good, or in my opinion even better. Buy a graphics cart which can be plugged onto you TV. Buy a game controller for your PC and you're ready to go. I've been using that for some time now. Now I can play all games on the couch with a controller in my hands just like the real consoles. Plus, you got all the nice features of the emulators like better graphics and instant save. |

If you want it on almost any console, simply get a snes emulator for whatever console and load it in your dvd drive on your computer. Browse through until you find roms. Put your game in there! Then, burn this onto a disc. Simple as that. |

It can be done on PS2, Xbox, Dreamcast, and soon on GCN. You can also make a cartridge and play it on a Snes. If you want me to make u a cart, PM me and we can discuss the details. |

Dreamcast is your best bet, if you have one. PSX might be able to run emulators, but you would have to mod it first. You don't have to mod a Dreamcast, which is why I used that. I would have used my Xbox instead, but JJ gots no money for a modchip. Run a search on Google for "dreamcast self boot inducer" and take things from there.
EDIT: Playing your hack on an actual television is quite the special feeling. |

First, you gotta get the controls to work with whatever console you've intended it's use for.
Then you have to learn about autoruns and burn the files onto a dvd. (I am not for certain which one is most compatible with PSX).
The chance of success is stiff, let alone the thought of the process is daunting enough. |

So, how can I make my hack be playable on my snes or at a cd video game system, like PSX or dreamcast? I know FPI got a cartridge version of his Sec Reality Project 1 hack, and JJ played his hack in a dreamcast, but I don't know how to do it Can someone give me a light here? Thanks
