What about stop n' swap... Thats more of a myth than an easter egg though... but there were those easter eggs in Banjo Kazooie |

At one point in Pokemon Red, I seem to recall being able to look at a SNES, and it said "It's a game with Mario wearing a bucket on his head" or some such thing. Banjo-Kazooie (well, ALL Rare games) also have a lot of such things. Call me a nerd if you will, but probably my favourite was "R4300" printed on some walls in the space levels in Diddy Kong Racing. N64 hackers will know what that's about... Spoiler:R4300 is the 'name' of the N64's CPU. I wonder if the 337 means anything? |

Max Payne had a secret room with Soldier Of Fortune 2 posters, and a hidden side alley with a Dopefish graffiti.
Max Payne 2 had a GTA tribute on a TV screen, and a "Mario" secret. |

In SC2K (at least the windows version), if you type the f-word, churches will start popping up everywhere. |

That was amusing, but I only did it once, becasue I spelled vaudeville wrong every time, and I bet I still do.
I tested that, be sure that you have selected the "paint the town" window.
And oh, ingame in SC2K. Write Joke. And watch the credits. I swear those last two are diffrent in the DOS version as to the Windows one...
I should look what happens in the Macintosh version. Acmlm had the Macintosh version...
Hehe, Maxis likes to hide jokes in their games. And they still do it... |

In Uniracers for the SNES, if you get to the final five courses, several random modes, like controls reversed mode and slow motion mode, pop up to try to distract you. The "Hedgehog Speed" mode is the most clever. It's like slow motion mode, but it's slower, frame-by-frame. Keep in mind that this game was made in 1994, in the midst of the Console Wars. |

What is the best Easter Egg you found in a game? I like a few small ones (Computer Screens in GTA3) but I can't think of anything spectacular, so you guys name some |
