A game like this may remember the first games, but you can give a new green types to your plants. It's like oo "drawed".

It ain't half bad, but the Super Koopa's look weird and I hate to say it, but the dreaded status bar pallete problem is present.

I really like the new plants The green outline on the koopa needs to be fixed, it doesn't look good.

3rd shot:

Same as above. Those chucks look really good by the way

4th shot:

Really like that mushroom! Everything looks good except for some reason the koopa's feet look like fire balls...maby its my eyes.

Level 1 = Really good! but, it lacks Any extra area's like a pipe with a lot of coins in the part it leads to or something.

Overworld looks awesome. Very good job. Title screen is still plain and dull.

Maybe I should explain a bit...

The world is made up of several parts....

Part 1 is Retro land, everything looks retro(smb1)

Earlier I said part 2 would be Goomba world, and nothing whatsoever of smb1

You are smw Mario, you look the same, traveling through these worlds, unless i could could find a way to change mario from place to place... like that will happen

Even the Ov is Exgraphics right now

I like the swords. That is cool. Don't know why...

Chargin Chucks are cool, too. Four colors for them doesn't look much different... but still cool.

Now one thing bothers me: Mario is still 16 colors while everything around him is 4 colors... doesn't not really look good in my opinion. At least try to make Mario look like on the NES, but not the NES Mario. Change the palette and recolor him... if you want.

Overworld path looks cool. Better than being plain.

The overworld looks MUCH better... the brick pathway looks a bit... off. The tiles dont look like they go together for some reason . Though maybe its just the castles that need work They look... flat...

Actually, I play .Hack all the time, but, for some reason, I didn't make the conection until I finished "The World" for the title screen.

anyway, I think this will be much better:

Sorry, but the only good thing about that one is its more active, its got mini trees, and that pipe over to the far right is cool. Other than that its still bad. I would definetly use the GBC or nes or what ever you want version of the SMB3 map. Then if you do use it, upload a shot.

Oh, and the water you have there looks out of place. You should put something around it because it looks like its floting there.

I wasn't planning on keeping that OV.... it was just a template...

Here is my current OV:

It looks a lot better now, I was also thinking of taking the OV from SMB1 for GBC

that road's color is going to change...
