1) Yes, in a way. If you start the player out on an intro level with the message display sprite NOT there, you'll be walking around in the intro level until you come to a point that has one (you put it down the pipe). The music plays as normal once you do, and you'll go to the map. Make sure that there are NO WAYS to die in the intro level, however, for the Game Over screen will NOT appear if you die at one life. And if you get to the MD area after getting less than 0 lives, the game returns to the title screen.

I think big boss boo works only with the ghost house tileset (i fixed it before, but i forgot how.)

also, you can do anything with C5 you can make it so he goes throgh a exit to another level (rember to put the display level message box 1 text sprite in!)

thanks for that, it indeed was there, I successfully screwed my overworld three ways from sunday, and then repaired it before realizing that it is in my best interest to make an ExGfx file with more than one tile

*goes off to make more tiles*

by the walking arround thing, I ment that the player could move him around the house, out the door, and down the pipe... I think that it should be possible but I don't know...

1> It's C7. and No.. unless you know some ASM. Nothing special though, but.. if you make him go down a pipe it will let you play the level it leads to..

2> Use an empty ExGFX File and use the Graphics bypass option in one of the overworld editor menus. (Hopefully, you already know how to use ExGFX).

3> There are too many sprites in the level (Or they conflict..). you may want to change the sprite memory index, or give the Big Boo a room of its own (A new level, by a pipe or door).

[EDIT] Spelling of Empty. Addition of () to #2
[EDIT] Punctuation on <2>.

Alright, these ones are a bit more obscure than my other ones...

(1)
Ok, the level that shows up at the VERY beguinning, level C5, does it have anything special about it, other than being loaded at the very start of the game. My idea is this, I trasnform this level into mario's house, he appears , walks arround and goes down a pipe, he then appears in another level where the Message appears and he it taken to the map, never to return to his house again...
in short, its this sort of thing possable?

(2)
How does one go about using ExGfx for the world map, I have a few things that I would like to add to the map and I have already edited a few throught the AllGfx.bin, but I dont want to bugger with anymore things if I have to.

(3)
The Big boo Boss...I tried to use it in a normal level, the idea being that It would be used as the boss of a castle or other such Ominous Level, however, the big boo's presance caused a few odd things to happen, first when Mario entered the screen that the big boo was on, he disappeared, he was still there, but he was invisiable. I inculded in the level, the blue grabbable blocks to defeat said ghost, and when I pick one up with mario, it too disappears. The other thing that happens is that All the other sprites in the level become transparent, the other enemies, and the power ups, eg Mushrooms and fire flowers, become transparent. the last thing that the boo does is causes what ever is behind it to become transparent as well. What can I do?

Here's a screen shot of that rotten ghost
Notice the lack of Mario

I bet you all are getting pretty tired of my constant questions by now
