OMG thats sweet I never knew layer 3 could be edited! Is the fog/mist anywhere near there? I really want to change that bubbly round mist.

In GFX2A, you should see a weird curve at tiles 7D and 7E (if you are using YY-CHR, you can see the tile number at the status bar). That is the top of the tide. GFX2B contains the actual water tiles (tile 0E). Edit those and you can be happy... |

If Im not mistaken, I dont think that any of the layer 3 graphics are viewable through extracting the graphics via LM. If you REALLY want to be sure of this though, ask BMF (Im sure he would know) or you could savestate in a level with layer 3, view that save state in BgMapper and view the VRAM graphics. Then just look for the graphics because they will be in color intead of the aweful tile program palettes. |

I'd like to know where I can find the gfx that displays the water tile of layer 3 tides. I checked Kyouji's thread about 'what gfx files contains each gfx' but couldnt find it, neither I could find later when I looked very close to each gfx to make sure I didn't overlook anything
