OOC Is something wrong with the boards that make links on certain words or is my computer messed up badly?
"How about I just hit you all!"
Dracoonx4 slashed around at every single one of the Slash Men. (or would it be mans in this context) He did it before the 6 seconds and came out of the attack with minimal damage and already rebound towards the real Slash Man to deal a slash of his own. |

NINJA MANSION
The injured Shadow Man looks up, smiles, and... blinks out of existance! Quick man suddenly does a triple frontflip, as Shadow Man blinks in again behind him, facing Janus and Proto Man, and throws six shruiken at them. The fast-moving blades fly in front of Quick, as he points at them, causing them to speed up and form a star-whirlwind that's generating electric sparks!!
"Double-Ninja Blade Tornado!!" they cry.
CITY
"Razor Image!"
As Dracoon dashes, he suddenly becomes surrounded in floating, transparent Slash Mans, all firing arcs of razor-sharp energy at him. Only one is the real Slash Man... This lasts for 6 seconds before Slash Man reappears on a higher-up building behind Dracoon.

Janus: "Right here."
He tosses the real Proto-Shield at Blues, and takes the copy out of his satchel, wielding it for himself.
"Mind if I use this for a while? You seem to have authenticity issues..."
He looks at the extremely pained robot masters suspiciously.
"Also, I think it'd be best for us to finish them off and collect their hard drives for additional data. Much as I dislike killing, they seem to have no qualms with causing me harm. If need be, they can be reprogrammed, right? In either case..."
He walks over to Shadow Man, and raises his hammer high above his head, ready to smash...
"If you've got a problem with it, just tell me." |

Dracoonx4 jumped, far, he jumped completely off the sky scraper and landed on another building, crushing a part of the roof. He looked around wondering where Slash Man was, and then he spotted him.
"If you want to be a coward, you better start running!"
Dracoonx4 started to shoot his arm cannon at Slash Man with a rapid fire. He was also moving towards Slash Man, hoping to get close enough to start fighting with his blade. |

NINJA MANSION
"Qui-Boomerang!" Quick yells, trying to pin Janus again. Shadow slaps his shoulder, completely diverted, and is smashed with the hammer and crumples against the far wall.
Quick runs up to him. "You not that hurt! Get up grasshopper!"
"Look... behind you..."
At this time, a red beam of powerful energy slams Quick from behind, and he too crumples. Proto Man stares behind him at Janus. "You handled that well. Now where's my shield?"
The two robot masters could NOT have been that easy to beat...
SPACE STATION
OOC: I'll wait for some more action before advancing this storyline. APH needs to post more often.
LIGHT'S LAB
While Dracoon is saying this, there's a white streak in front of him for a nanosecond, and suddenly the terrain he's on begins to tilt VERY quickly...
The scyscraper he's on has been cut in two!

While stuck in the wall, Janus lets his hammer fly at Shadow Man, and slips out from underneath the boomerang's pin! As it flies, the hammer knocks the star out of the way and continues on its course with Shadow Man!
Janus: "You wanna know? You're gonna have to kill me, first."
Fwip! Relieved of his hammer's weight, Janus moves even faster, appearing behind Shadow Man and tapping him on his shoulder, hoping to divert his attention from the flying hammer! |

"Now where are you Slash Man! I want to end this here and now!"
Dracoonx4 looked around his cannon and sword ready. He was waiting for a fight and hopefully a good fight. It had been forever since he fought another reploid in close combat and even though this was just a machine it would still be worth it. |

NINJA MANSION
As soon as Janus hits, they disappear in the blink of an eye, both having avoided the move. That's when a razor-edged boomerang flies at him and pins his torso to the wall before he can even figure out what's going on.
The two ninja robots reappear in front of him again, staring at the pinned Janus. They were moving so fast they were invisible.
"Grasshopper!" Shadow laughs.
"Confucious say, men who come uninvited pay toll!" Quick adds.
"No, they don't," Shadow adds, giving Quick a frown. Shadow continues, "Tell me where Proto Man is, you have 3 seconds. Onetwothree!" Another star is on his way to Janus's head.
Neither ninja took any notice of the hammer Janus still is carrying.
LIGHT'S LAB
"Roger," Bass replies. He runs into the lab. "Light, Wily, give me the Hydro Base level." Moments later, he's off to Gemini and Dive Man's level, doing it alone. |

"Why don't I just stay here and kill him? You can go to another to another level and try to defeat them, but I will stay and finish him..."
Dracoonx4 didn't wait for agreement but jumped onto the nearest building and took off after Slash Man. |

Janus: "Much better! Now you're thinking with the right----"
Whiz! Tink!
"....head?"
The star quivered as it lay embedded in Janus' fake Proto Shield. He throws it aside, better with two hands on his hammer than with one.
"Darn it, this isn't good.... where the hell's Blues when you need him? Ah, well, I'm not THAT worried about you, boomerang boy! Just the ninja...."
The fires swirl into Janus' hammer, charging it and causing it to glow like a torch! Moving so fast that he nearly leaves an afterimage, Janus rushes Shadow Man and slashes as he flies past, bushido-style!

LIGHT'S LAB
Slash Man claws the shots as he runs toward Dracoon, but the sword gets him and he's knocked back again. "Grrrrrr! You're tougher than I thought. Dimmension gave you a chance to join him, but you made a fool's decision, and now you pay!"
Suddenly a mega blast comes from behind Dracoon, barely missing him and smashing into Slash Man, knocking him into a building in the distance. "Stop gloating," Bass's voice is heard from behind Dracoon. "He'll be back. I'd go into a teleporter to another level before he reaches us. He won't destroy the lab, he'll just go after you."
NINJA MANSION
The room is lit up, and two ninjas are visible in the back corner of the room-- Quick Man and Slash Man. As soon as they are spotted, Shadow Man deftly flicks another star at Janus to the head. |

Dracoonx4 jumps away from the goo, but he mis-steps and fall on the ground. He readies his buster canon again, but isn't sure what he should do.
*thinking* "Damn, this guy is fast... Close range combat would be a bad idea... Long range won't work either... Oh forget it!"
Dracoonx4 jumps at Slash man firing his buster canon and slashing his sword. Dracoonx4 fires a long series of shots while he is charging and when he gets close enough to strike starts to do so as fast as he can. |

TINK!
A half-second after it's thrown, the star finds itself embedded in Janus' hauberk...
Janus: "Yikes! That was pretty speedy. I almost couldn't follow it. Red's Fire!!!"
As flames illuminate the room around Janus, he holds his Proto-Shield out in front of him and brandishes his hammer.
"The keyword there, is 'almost.'" |

More whispering. "Shadow, attack him while he leats expects it."
"Got it. Here comes a Shadow Blade to the heart..."
Then there is a metal flick, followed by a whirring sound, getting rapidly louder... A ninja star is headed for Janus's heart.
LIGHT'S LAB
Slash Man tries to cut down the sword, but obviously can't. He injures himself, and, once he finds he can't hit Dracoon unless closer, he backflips away and throws something at him. It looks vaguely like a red, pulsing dinosuar egg... Once 7 feet away, the egg suddenly explodes into a mass of sticky, red glue. |

He knows full well where he's gone.... And he doesn't like shadows. |

Dracoonx4 falls to the ground and flips up. He was floored to say the least but he was ready to counter already.
"You'll refret that!"
Dracoonx4 leaps towards Slash Man with his energy sword and starts slashing wildly, but keeping away from the claws. |

NINJA MANSION
The japanese writing above says, "Choose a Destination". The letter on the wheel means "Go", and the two other symbols are unknown.
When Janus presses the button, the arrow is pointing to the letter on the wheel-- and a trap door opens beneath him! There's a chute that twists and turns, and finally ends in a huge, underground room.
"Hmm, there's only one of 'em," says a sleek voice...
LIGHT'S LAB
"Impressive! Bwa ha ha!" the figure says. With one claw, he totally plows through Dracoon's shot, and with the other claw he plows through Dracoon. With the sudden attack follows a backflip, and soon the figure is standing 20 feet from the floored Dracoon.

From his satchel, Janus pulls out a Japanese translation guide and compares what he sees in it to the "instructions" on the wall. Just for kicks, he also pushes that button. |

"See ya! Power Shot!!!"
Dracoonx4's arm cannon explodes in power as a beam shoots towards the incomming enemy. Dracoonx4 watches the blast hoping it will hit. He had no time and move and couldn't if he tried, but this should do.
