Actually, right from the start I knew this forum would probably not suit you. I mean, you probably take this stuff even more seriously than me, a big-time first for me. I figured also, since you were from other battle forums, you were used to structure. Well, it's up to you to not visit here again, but if you happen to stop by and read this last post, know that I'm sorry this was a bad experience for you.
Do me a favor and enjoy the other forums as best you can. It brings me happiness to know someone else is happy. Goodbye. --Schwa |

That's your choice. But, an talented sim battler has techniques that protect his weaknesses-a weak one leaves them open. Your attack on my mind with the bird would have utterly crippled me. What am I supposed to do? Allow it to work? When I made this character, I knew that even as his mind was his greatest strength, so is it his greatest weakness. Because of that, I felt that I needed to protect his weaknesses.
And you speak to me of taking damage-I can find only one time when you took damage as well. All the other times you absorbed my attacks with your special ether.
I find it childish that you challenge my techniques and fighting style. Every fighter fights differently and for a reason. You exhibited great skill while fighting, though your sense of honor is inexistent. I find honor to be more important than skill, for the warrior who takes defeat graciously and compliments his opponent on his skill is the honorable one. I find that the warrior who fights his best and uses his character to the best of his ability is the honorable one. You have exhibited one of the most dishonorbale acts in your last post-forfeiting and telling your opponent you don't like the way they fight.
And you speak to me of the rules? They are short, concise, and lacking.
Last, I am not impressed with the sim battling community on this board. I have fought one person who sought me out. His skill was great, though he fought most dishonorably. Many of his attacks were near god-mode. The sim battling community here is NOT very structured. I do not believe I will fight here again, if I come here again. I am insulted by the response I was given. I feel that a part of my honor has been taken away from me in this battle.
I came here to find a new sim battling community full of honorable fighters. This board has been weighed, it has been measured, and has been found wanting. I will NOT visit this forum, and possibly this board, ever again.

OOC: You know, I don't like it how you have a counter for every single thing I throw at you. You've taken damage ONE time in our entire battle. All other attacks have been either absorbed by the shield or nullified. It's not fair. I don't know if I'll continue the battle at this rate.
Remember, the rules are very different here. One rule is that your character can't avoid attacks that often. You have to take hits regularly, to keep the battle fair and realistic.
I've been trying to keep up with you so far, but this just pushed it too far. I'm sorry, but I don't think we can continue this battle. You'll master the rules sometime in the future, but until then, don't battle me again.

*Anon activates the effects of the Fortress Mind technique and watches Schwa's reaction. Anon's mind is cleared now...
Anon then activates the psionic storm technique three times (300 lightning bolts) and watches Schwa's reaction, as he is still in stasis.*
A Fortress Mind: Any attempt to harm or disable Anon's mind will be nullified. In addition, the attempt made by the opponent to harm Anon's mind is used on the opponent, except this time it is 6 times stronger.

The bird is only 10 feet away when the boulder hits it-- and when it's hit, it dissolves into a blue mist that only lasts for a second.
Schwa mocks Anon telepathically. "Good going, Anon. You now have a virus in your nervous system. Good luck getting it out!"
The Mind Bird, now a bio-virus embedded in Anon's nervous system, begins to attack him from the inside. When the boulder hit it, it must've been forced into it's virus form, then infiltrated Anon's body. There's only one way known to kill a Mind Bird in it's virus form... but does Anon know? |

"Very good," Schwa remarks as Anon attacks. "Looks like a paralysis move. Well, you make your move, and I'll make mine." Schwa takes the stasis attack directly, and at the same time, the blue bird flies off Schwa's shoulder and flies at Anon at a super-fast velocity. It's eyes are glowing.
Anon can hear a telepathic message from Schwa now. "Okay, I'm in stasis. But I can still use psi. You, on the other hand, won't be capable of doing anything once my friend hits you! Well, except maybe put yourself into a coma..." |

Stasis: This move attempts to trap the enemy within a stasis field for 3 of the of the opponent's turns after the opponent is trapped. |

(OOC: Schwa hasn't attacked yet. You'll learn what the move does when it hits you... trust me. I'm not the kind of guy who tells exactly what my moves do before I use 'em. Sometimes my character tells his opponent though.
There's nothing in the rules about keeping attack effects secret before you use the move. In fact, I believe it's recommended. You just have to have a reason for things happening, that's all.) |

Schwa finishes. "Like I said, my attacks depend on my emotions. I must be worked up for this to work right. Summon Mind Bird!!!" (echo effects)
Out of the sky flies an exotic, blue bird that perches on Schwa's shoulder. It stares at Anon carefully. "You'll hate to see what this can do."
OOC: Yeah you'll hate it, AghBob, because though it doesn't really break any rules, it pushes the power limit a little. There's a weakness to the technique, though; there has to be for it to be legal. |

Just like before, Schwa coats in cream ether to absorb most of the damage as mana. "Well, what if I disable your mind then? How good will you be then? Hey, I'm not crazy. Watch... it can be done." Schwa becomes surrounded in blue ether this time, as he focuses anger into his mind. He must be crazy if he's a psi warrior who's trying to get angry. |

"My mind is an inexhaustible resource. Anything you throw at me, literally, will probably be useless."

OOC: 90 mph? Hmm...
The boulders would hit him before he was caught by his platform-- if it weren't for some quick thinking on his part. Schwa holds his arms out in mid-fall, and lavender ether pours out of them which flies inside the boulders. "I call this move Psychic Earth." The ether-charged boulders change direction in midair, spiraling around Schwa, forming a boulder cyclone. He is then lifted up by his platform, back to Anon's level again, but this time a mass of boulders are circling him. Schwa can be heard from within the earthen storm. "My Psychic Earth is my special ability that I get from being in touch with nature. It allows me to communicate with the earth itself, and have it help me out when necessary in exchange for life-giving ether. Different kinds of ether get me different results. Hyaa!"
Schwa thrusts his hands out, and the boulders fly outward in all directions, surround Anon and close in at the same speed as Anon launched them (90 mph). |

"Once again, you have been outwitted."
*Anon deactivates his shield for a split second and moves quickly to the side, though the beam does knock a chunk out of his powersuit. Anon then reactivates his shield, and then his eyes flash orange and stay orange as he concentrates on the walls of the canyon. He jumps up into the air and motions with his hands. The canyon walls, forced by his mind's will, explode into hundreds of huge boulders. All of these boulders fly at the falling Schwa from all directions. All of them are about the size of a mini-van, and are travelling at 90 mph.* |

The attack is fast, but Schwa is faster... at first, anyway. Anon's first attack is barely deflected as Schwa's ether-coated arm goes up, but the second arm isn't so fast. Schwa is hit by Anon's second attack and is knocked off the platform he's on...
...but while falling, a shield-penetrating beam of plasma erupts from Schwa's hand, reaching Anon in a fraction of a second! Schwa freefalls for a while before the platform moves down to catch him. He is lifted back upward, and away from Anon several yards.
"Thank you for the attack. Don't you get it? My attack types change depending on my emotions. Fear bears electricity, sorrow bears ice, anger bears fire, but pure compassion will bring forth mighty plasma against my enemies. And my compassion for you has hit it's peak point, as I am battling such a noble warrior. Thank you, Anon! Now... are you sure you can keep fighting me when your shield is useless?"
OOC: Lightning is supposed to penetrate shields, but I went with your idea instead. Happy? |

BIC: *Anon looked at Schwa and his eyes flashed with fury.*
"Humanoid! I told you I was wiser than you! You are the fool for you have assumed that your attack would work, without anylyzing what has happened earlier in this fight. Continue to fight this way, and your death will not be honorable at all."
*Anon braced himself as the lightning hit his shield. The electricity of it was absorbed by the shield, as had happened earlier in this fight, but there was some force behind the lightning which made Anon slide back a few feet, and lowered his shield density to 93%. Anon then jumped at Anon, flying at him through the air attempting to stab him with both psionic blades. Remember that Anon is only about 5 feet away from Schwa when he does this.* |

OOC: I told you, the rules here are quite different. Healing yourself at all is not allowed, unless the thread-starter says otherwise at the beginning of the fight. Healing allies works the same way; thread starter has to give permission.
Schwa coats himself in cream-colored ether again, absorbing most of the damage as mana. (This means he still takes a little damage.) He doesn't flinch while hit, luckily. While Anon is close to Schwa, Schwa tilts the pointy end of the top to Anon again and uses Thunder Slash, at point-blank range. There's no way such a fast attack could miss at such a close range.
"Ha, your shields aren't too useful now, are they? Now I wouldn't say Protoss are weak, but as for clueless arrogance, you score a point." |

(ooc: I thought it was only major healing...everywhere I've been you can do minor healing but major healing like regrowing a lost arm is illegal.)
BIC:*Anon flips backwards, touches momentarily on the ground, and flies at Schwa, making 7 slashes when he reaches him.*
