Yeah but Halo was going to be the game that "sold" Xbox's as well.
So there will be a PC port (I'd say it's inevitable), but it'll only be when Halo 2's done all the damage it can do. |

Yea, that's the number one reason why Halo 2 prolly wont come out on the PC. I have also heard that because Halo on the PC was helped to be made by Gearbox, most of the profits went to them. So, Bungie wouldn't want that to happen again. Of course, they could do the port themselves, right? |

Halo 2 is gonna be the game that "sells" Xboxs so dont be suprised if a PC port is far off. I mean just think of it, if you had such a hyped up game would you let the PC community just have it, or would you rather the entire PC community purchase an XBox?
As for the riding on the back of Ghosts, thats all speculation for now. In a Clip Master Chief grabbed onto the back of a Ghost but instead of hijacking it right away he waited for a few seconds and then hijacked it. So some people think youll be able to ride on the back of them. It would be very awesome if you could though, it would get your team across the map very quickly and open up a slew of all new stratagies in CTF. |

I think Halo sold well for the PC so I can see a port within the next year or so. You know MS is going to want to get as many Xbox shipments out as possible before that's considered.  |

I really want this game so bad, but I don't got an Xbox. Hopefully, it will be released on teh PC. But that whole emblem thing is a major improvement. It blows the Half Life spraypaint thing totally away. |

Go to GameFAQs and you'll see a lot of arguments supporting the FF7 thing. 
That's what I like about video games actually - a game can certainly be *one* of the best of all time (SMB3, FF7, Zelda:OoT, Halo, etc.) but there's no way to concretely put one of them above all the others. That's why the game industry will never die - you don't have to go out there and improve on every game out there. You just need to make something that's good in its own right. |

There is no best game ever (no one here thinks that about FF7 still right?) it is all oppion, and since some people like to go against people's oppions to do that there can never be one. But back on topic I am looking forward to this game as it seems fun. I never like FPS storyline but I love the multiplayer, and I have people running me over with the ghosts and everything... |

You will be able to hijack vehicles in multiplayer and the new Spartan amor is fully customizable in multiplayer. From color to emblems!
From the looks of it this game will be once of the greatest FPS ever, Im not saying its gonna be the best game ever though. |

Oh I'm sure the gameplay will be there. It would be hard to screw that up.
I'm just fearing that if the magazines/websites don't call it the greatest game ever... Some of the fanboys might be ticked. That's what I meant - it'll be good, sure, but don't set your expectations unrealistically high.  |

Colin, the gameplay will be there. As long as they include more multiplayer customization (severely lacking in the first) it will kick major ass. |

My thought is that the game can look as pretty as you want it to, but the gameplay has to be there as well. I'm not a huge Halo fan, but I just hope that the game lives up to some people's expectations... |

I've seen the Halo 2 video that they showed at E3, and I've seen the graphics for it and stuff, but honestly the only thing I'm really looking forward to is being able to push people off vehicles (assuming they're including that as a move in the game, they might not if that was just a fluke that Master Cheif did for story purposes...).
I saw the Half Life 2 video, I was much more impressed by that. Especially the Counter Strike clip they showed at the end.... |

I already bought the collectors edition Halo 2 online and as a plus I get it the day before it gets shipped to stores.
